This "Hike" is definitely challenging to say the least. The challenge comes from the mountain being mainly rocks. Once you reach the 50% point, the hike intensifies even more. But our guide Shem was so nice. He let us know it was okay to break whenever we needed to. He encouraged us and made sure we were okay. Also our driver Duri was so cool. He gave us the reality of what it is to hike the Pitons. Once we were finished we were so exhausted but Duri stopped and got us some water for the road. Overall, it's challenging but a once in a lifetime experience. We appreciated both Duri and Shem.

The hike is difficult. I am 60 and did it, but the last 10 minutes were hard. Lots of boulders to climb on. Our driver and tour guide were both great. The driver picked us up at the resort at 6:00 AM. The drive from Sandals Halcyon is about 90 minutes. Hubby got a bit car sick. I was ok. At the pitons, our guide was Shane. He paced the hike to my pace. For anyone that loves to hike, I would recommend this excursion.

I had an excellent experience with this taxi service in Saint Lucia. The driver was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the island, making the trip both smooth and enjoyable. We had the pleasure of traveling with Durand as he picked us up early from our resort and took us on a drive to the Pitons. Duri was knowledgable about the island and gave us a tour through some of the fishing villages on the way to the Pitons. My son and I hiked the Gros Piton and Duri took us back to the resort but not before stopping and enjoying a cold Piton Beverage to celebrate our accomplishment! It was a pleasure talking with Duri and our trip was great. I would point out... the reviewer who gave 4 stars seems to have rated their hike. Let's remember that we cannot penalize the taxi service based on your hiking experience. Our ride experience was 5 stars and enjoyed it! The hike was tough but that wasn't Duri's fault! :) Thank you Duri! We appreciate you and your beautiful home of Saint Lucia.

The level of difficulty. And to be sure they are healthy enough. We had a wonderful time and it’s definitely worth doing! Duri and Abigail were amazing! Very informative! Abigail was very patient with us

So I booked the hike and chose my hotel where I needed to be picked up from the dropdown menu. The morning of the hike I got a text saying they noticed I picked a hotel far away and would have to pay an extra 40$ USD to get picked up from there. Therefore, check this when you book and before the cancellation date. The information about pickup is not clear on the website. I ended up doing a different hike to Pidgeon Island which was half the price of what I paid but was not offered a refund for the difference.

Our driver was right on time and super nice. In fact he saved the day. So Monday 8 am we had to thru the capital at rush hour, and so took 2.5 hours to get there. Note to self: from Northern hotels schedule pickup after 10 on a weekday. The tour does NOT start at 9, there is no fixed tour and you can show up any time before 2. Second: it is not a hike. It is arduous boulder climbing and we gave up after 15 minutes. Luckily the driver suggested the Tet Paul hike Stairway to Heaven so we dropped in and for $10 got a great tour and easy hike with great views.

Really good communication the night before texting to make sure we all good for the pick up time the next morning . Turned up on time the next morning, super friendly and taught so much about St Lucia along the way way Gros Piton. Guide at Gros Piton was friendly and motivating and we made it to the top and back down. You can grab a nice cold beer to celebrate once you make it back down . Was picked up on time and taken back to hotel safely . I would recommend to solo, group or couple travellers. Ikram

This area is beautiful and we loved driving around and seeing different sights with our awesome driver Duran. Duran also helped arrange other drivers for us through out our stay, ensuring we recieved fair prices and good service! Thank you Duri!
