We thoroughly enjoyed this tour from our ship. Our tour guide, Frank, was great. He was knowledgeable and organized and had a great sense of humour. I love hearing about the history and culture that formed our world.
Thank you for your positive review, we are glad you enjoyed your Chester Excursion with Frank. We hope to welcome you again on our future excursions, which also depart from Holyhead and Greenock Cruise Terminals.
Great trip! Frank was a very good guide, answered all of our questions and there was plenty of free time for us to explore Chester, walk the wall, shop, and see the famous clock. Unlike the cruise ship excursions, there was plenty of time to wander about the adorable medieval town with Roman ruins and plenty of history. Short drive out of Liverpool, approx. 45 min.
Thank you for your positive review, we are glad you enjoyed your Chester Excursion with Frank.
Our guide was wonderful, the town is beautiful. I liked the amount of time offered with the walking tour and free time.

Easy tour, informative tour guides...even assisting with directions to specific shops requested....Frank our tour guide was very congenial and it was a bonus that our driver Keith was a Chester local!

We truly enjoyed our half day tour to Chester from the Liverpool Cruise Terminal! Frank, our tour guide was waiting for us at the terminal, making it so easy to find the bus to take us to Chester. Chester is a beautiful town, about 45 minutes from Liverpool and Frank was so interesting as he walked us through the historic Chester sights for about an hour and a half. Frank gave us great information on what to see on our own after the walking tour. My husband and I walked the incredible length of the walled city and it was an incredible experience!! We had delicious jacket potatoes in one of the small cafes in the main shopping area too! I highly recommend this wonderful tour!
Thank you for your wonderful feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your Chester Excursion with Frank. We hope to welcome you again on our future excursions, which also depart from Greenock and Holyhead Cruise Terminals.
We incorrectly assumed a half day tour was 4 hours. We were surprised to find this was a 6 hour tour. Was good, but a little more time than we preferred to be in Chester. If you want lots of time in Chester, this is a good option. Tour guide gave us a good walking tour to start, then we had some independent time. Guide pointed us in the right direction upon return to the port for a few Beatles pics we wanted to snap. All was well.
trip cancelled the day before and substituted for North Wales trip which was fabulous with Busy Bus.
We had a wonderful day in Chester. Our guide was very knowledgeable and started us off with a walking tour into the historic old town. We then had plenty of time to wander on our own. We chose to visit the Cathedral and then do a little shopping. Very fun to walk the walls of this beautiful city. Very recommended.
