They were quick to reply to my questions and gave a great offer for two minivans. The payment method was also very smooth. The drivers were really friendly and punctual, waiting outside of the cruise terminal with our group leaders name. They were easy to get in contact with via whatsapp and arrived on time to take us back to the port. We did want to do extra sightseeing nearby the Le Havre port after our tour of the Palace of Versailles, however, even though we shortened our time at the site, we were very exhausted and wanted to get back and we arrived with a lot of time to spare if we did decide to venture nearby the ship. Would definitely recommend for large groups who want to visit the Palace for a bargain from the cruise port!

Worth the Trip
Friendly, courteous driver got us to our scheduled guided tour in plenty of time. Even bought us "french" Croissants for the long drive from the pier. Versailles Palace is a magnificent palace with beautiful painted ceilings and tapestries. Highly recommend spending the day there. High praise to our Driver who was very accommodating, pleasant and knowledgeable.

Versailles palace tour
Amazing barely describes it. I heard it would approach a billion dollars to replicate this today. Every room is a masterpiece. The artwork and decor is one of a kind. Important: we have been twice at different times of the year. Do not just show up. Go with a tour or a reservation. The general admittance line will be 90 minutes plus. Highly recommend going. Very easy train ride from Paris then walk to Versailles.

Gardens away the best
I went with a friend to the Palace of Versailles, we arrived by metro, train and bus xq el rer was closed that day. We didn’t buy tickets before, but it didn’t matter because the line to get in was so long that while one lined up, the other was x the tickets. The line lasted about 2 hours, then inside the palace was too full, it was horrible. The Palace beautiful, but I would have liked more rooms set of the time. Then we went to the gardens, which was by far the most beautiful part, and to the Palace of Marie Antoinette, which is also worth it.
A good tip, is to enter the gardens first, walk quietly, have lunch and then at the end move to the palace, you do not need more than an hour and in the afternoon, type 5 is empty. I wasn't able to get in again xq was exhausted, but if it was again I would reverse order.

Extremely Crowded and Disorganised
We pre-purchased tickets and waited in line for almost two hours. Once we got in, we were in a massive group of people, with hundreds behind us. There was no time to stop and enjoy the palace. People were constantly pushing behind you. Every other place we went had time stamps, in order to keep the crowds manageable. Whoever manages Versailles, is doing an extremely lousy job of it. I would not recommend it. There are many other amazing sites to see.

Go early! It gets so busy and the queues are ENORMOUS.
The place is unbelievable and it absolutely takes your breath, however when we visited it was so crowded and we only had time to see a couple of rooms (at lightening pace). I would definitely advise getting a queue jump ticket as we stood in line for around 2 and a half hours (and it was glorious sunshine so we were baking). Definitely go and visit as the wow factor really does outweigh the negatives. Take some time to pre-plan and you will have an amazing time here.
