Manchester Craft Beer Tour – October 3, 2025 Last Friday, October 3rd, we joined the Manchester Craft Beer Tour with six friends — and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Originally, our tour was planned for Saturday the 4th, but since we had tickets for Manchester United vs Sunderland that day, Lee from Craft Beer Tours went out of his way to reschedule us for Friday. He even managed to combine us with another guest — a 77-year-old man who fit right in with our group of forty-somethings. The tour itself was fantastic. We discovered a range of beers you rarely find back home in the Netherlands — from rich Porters and smoky Rauchbiers to bold sours infused with chili peppers. We also visited some incredible Manchester breweries we probably wouldn’t have found on our own: Fell Brewery, Sureshot Brewing, Balance Brewing & Blending, and Cloudwater Brewing. A huge shout-out to Lee for organizing such a great afternoon. Friendly, knowledgeable, and full of passion for beer — it really showed. 🍻 Highly recommended for anyone visiting Manchester who loves craft beer!
