Alex was just lovely. So knowledgeable and passionate. The Uffizi was very crowded and she did a great job of navigating us through and demonstrating respect for the museum and us. Easy to find the group. Very worth it!

Disappointed. The tour was supposed to be in English. While the tour guide was a kind person and had lots to say about the paintings, our group was only able to understand about 20 to 30% of what she was saying. When we asked questions, she did not understand them and gave unrelated answers that made it clear that she did not understand. This was not an English tour as advertised. I was disappointed because I was interested in what we were seeing. I could not understand what she was trying to tell us.

Tour operator had a glitch with their booking software and so no one showed up to lead the tour. They haven’t refunded the $600 we paid. Contacting them has been a challenge. They acknowledged the issue but haven’t provided a resolution.

Laura was excellent. She was knowledgeable and also made the tour fun. We are so glad we did this tour. It enabled us to navigate a very large museum and get the most out of the experience in Florence.

Two days before our guided tour the agency contacted us and advised that they would not be able to provide a guided tour as not enough people signed up. They offered a later time, but we already had something else booked. With their late change, all other small group tours from other vendors were booked. Our only option was to do the phone based audio tour, which did not work after trying on two different phones, attempting to use our German and Italian phone numbers, and hotspot. Useless. The only plus was that we had timed ticket entry. Best advice, book with AirBnB experiences as our guide on another tour told us they cannot cancel for too few people booking.

We understand that your time is carefully scheduled when traveling, and it is disappointing to hear that our backup option did not work despite your efforts. Our guide Mary told us a lot of background behind Florence, the gallery and the transition from medieval through the whole renaissance period, which was fascinating., and who knew Botticelli couldn't paint feet! The only down side was the tour rep was difficult to locate- the rep only had a baseball cap with the company logo on it , so would have been easy to miss.

Pay attention to the instructions regarding where and how to meet and arrive a bit early. There are many other people looking for their own tours.

Guided tour with Mary was excellent, very informative. Great to avoid queues. Having the history of the art explained was well worth it and able to ask questions with only 5 of us on the tour.
