Very enjoyable day. Very interesting to visit the old towns. Samuel was very good tour guide.

Walked through 2 villages ,& was told the history if each. We gad a lovely lunch. The day was well worth it. Cyril was a fabulous guide, very funny but very Knowledgeable too

This trip exceeded our expectations and our guide Cyril was not only warm and welcoming to our group but he also had incredible knowledge and made the whole day so enjoyable. We were lucky with a very small group and it felt like a day out with friends. The villages we visited and the entire day will be fondly remembered. Thank you Cyril for making this day so special 😊

This is a great tour! Guide Cyril was knowledgeable, funny, helpful and an extraordinary guide. The train and bus portions of the trip were smooth, comfortable with some great sights and information and stories along the way. The French villages were beautiful, with terrific views. Lunch was tasty, although totally vegetarian. Definitely a great day trip from Nice.

Cyril was our guide and he did an exceptional job. It was an excellent trip covering two villages high up in the hills and the train ride was great as well.

Our train and tour experience through the French Alps from Nice was absolutely wonderful! The journey itself was a highlight, with picturesque train and bus rides through the stunning Alpine scenery as we traveled from Nice to two beautiful mountain villages. We had plenty of time to explore each village, take in the scenery, and experience the charm and character of these special places. The delicious lunch included in the tour price was another wonderful touch and made the day feel especially complete. A huge part of what made this experience so memorable was our tour guide, Sofia. She was exceptional! Sofia is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and each of the villages we visited, and she brought the history, culture, and traditions of the French Alps to life with fascinating context and stories. She is also a gifted communicator and speaks four languages. Her explanations were engaging, informative, and easy to follow, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. We were fortunate to have a small group of just eight people. The intimate group size allowed Sofia to personalize the experience, answer questions, and interact with everyone throughout the day. It made the tour feel much more relaxed and personal than a typical large-group excursion. Overall, this was a fantastic way to experience the French Alps from Nice. Beautiful scenery, charming villages, excellent transportation, a delicious lunch, and an outstanding guide made this a truly memorable day. Highly recommended!

Host is incredibly knowledgable, accommodating, great pre and post trip communication. Everything ran like clock work. Special additions and introductions to locals along the way made it even more special. If you don't do this tour you will miss a very, very rare set of sights.

Full day tour with pleasant knowledgable guide who was a very positive addition to the day Used public transport both train and buses to visit the monastery , villages and vantage points on the mountains, had fantastic lunch at restaurant in the mountains and found the whole day an excellent experience as did all my family group , there was a fair amount of walking which would require a certain level of fitness but it added to the fantastic experience and amazing and breathtaking views

Very interesting in depth talks. I felt as if I really had insights into the area, its history and geography. Samuel was friendly and interactive with his guests. A surprising gourmet luncheon.
