Can be long wait to get to top of Castle Hill and many steps! Also markets close early so an earlier time might be more interesting.

Lara M. is a sweetheart who provides interesting information and leads a tour worth taking. It was a great introduction by a native of Nice who is excited to share its history.

I was double charged for this tour by the tour operator because of using the name Fred and Frederick. The tour guide recognized the error immediately and made a note of it. The tour operator must be desperate for money because they denied my refund request. Viator should rectify this issue with a refund seeing that I booked the tour through Viator.

Very friendly and knowledgeable host. She shared many interesting historical facts and answered questions confidently. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hand fan if you get warm easily, as the tunnel while waiting for the lift gets warm. Stunning views from the top of the hill

We did the Nice fun tours walking tour of nice and castle hill. Carmella was our guide. She was easy to find, and very welcoming from the start. She walked us through many spots in historic Nice, stopping to share stories and always open to questions. She gave fun anecdotes and historical info that was interesting and informative. We saw many spots that we went back to thanks to her tour and recommendations. She was open with recommendation on what to try and places to eat that were easily accessible on the tour. Castle hill was lovely. I would recommend Carmella to anyone looking for an intro to Nice. The tour moved at a good pace and wasn’t rushed and there was plenty to see and learn. Thank you Carmella for the wonderful tour.

Clementine was knowledgeable and friendly. Great way to see old Nice and learn some history. We visited a nice park overlooking Nice and the water.

Lara is a very nice and competent tour guide! The walking tour was exciting and entertaining, and Lara was really always intent on answering every question. We would go again anytime; I am sure she has even more entertaining stories in store.

Cara was really terrific. Informative without over doing it and paused to add context when people had questions. Also she really moved us along so we got to see a lot of old Nice while learning the history of the city. I highly recommend
