Such a great day out. Diego was super knowledgeable and we learned so much. Couldn’t recommend this excursion more!

We had a lovely time on this excursion. It was well organized and had a good pace. I would especially like to recognize Matteo who served as our guide and driver for the day - he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Highly recommend this tour to others.

We had the BEST day with Diego as our guide. The hike up Etna was enjoyable and educational, the caving was so unique, the lunch and wine tasting was delicious and finishing at the Alcantara was the perfect end! Most importantly, this was the favorite day of our trip so far for our 6 and 8 year olds! 100% recommend!

Having booked this trip and received "pending" confirmation, with less than 24 hours to go and no contact, I rang Viator (Trip Adviser subsidiary) to be told the tour operator had no availability on our chosen date. Presumably Viator was waiting for me to ring tomorrow morning at 8.30 when nobody turned up. Dismal service.

Wonderful tour! Everything I wanted for a visit to Etna. Guide was very knowledgeable about the history, geology, flora and fauna, culture and just about everything from the area. Food and wine was great. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic day with Toni, great guy, very informative, knowledgeable friendly and good sense of humour. Picked up from Taormina, up to Etna, some vents, lava bombs, trees and lava tube, then a good lunch with local wines and a trip to alcantara, more information before drop off back in the town. So informative and interesting. Fantastic scenery good food and unrushed. Turns out Toni also likes Monty python so top guy, though he’s no the messiah….

Had a great time with our English-speaking guide Diego! He's very knowledgeable about the nature, landscape, and history of not just Mount Etna but all of Sicilia. He took the time to explain and diagram everything and answered all questions while expertly and safely guiding us along. It was a bit chilly and windy up at the craters but they provide jackets and hiking boots (don't forget socks!) as well as walking sticks for those who need them. For the Alcantara gorges, I'd suggest wearing or bringing swim shoes or Tevas type of footwear so you can wade in the water without hurting your feet on the rocks

Guiseppe was amazing! Such amazing energy and took time to make it educational without making it boring. He spent time with each of us without it feeling forced. He went at a pace that suited everyone and gave us plenty of breaks along the way. I honestly cannot praise him enough. It was a magical experience and he played a huge part in that. Thank you for making our trip so amazing!

Roberto was a terrific guide and driver. It was unfortunate that the weather was abysmal with heavy cloud cover and cold rain and then freezing rain. However, to Roberto's credit he made the tour as interesting as the weather would allow. The winery was nice and the food above average. I am sure that should the weather been better that the tour would be excellent. I credit the tour for supplying rain jackets and hiking boots.

Although the weather was cold and wet, Roberto made the day very informative and definitely worth the effort.
