Daniele was an absolutely amazing guide. He’s incredibly smart and educated. We loved hearing about the different species/plants on etna. the tour ends with a sandwich which isn’t the best sandwich ever but does the job. I would recommend bringing a snack since the sandwich is at the end of the tour.
Luca did a great job driving us up to Etna and conducting our tour. He picked us up in a small bus just a short walk from our hotel, which made it very convenient for my friend and I. He is knowledgeable about the region including the volcano, the plants, the cuisine, and the history. His English was very easy to follow. The tour gave us fantastic views of the volcano and in no way did I ever feel unsafe or too close to the smoke. Lunch was great too. I highly recommend!
We did the half day tour around Etna with our guide Donati in mid September. Donati picked us up from our hotel in Naxos, which was really helpful and saved us having to get to Taormina early morning. We were then transported to a vineyard to collect trekking poles, jackets etc, all provided by the company as part of the trip. The trek itself is pretty benign and not difficult, however this allows you to take in the amazing scenery and Donati was exceptional as a guide. His knowledge, patience and humour shone through and he was happy to answer all our questions. The trek itself takes approx 1 hour. We then went through the lava cages which was an amazing experience, hearing of how they were formed and used to store food packed in ice. Lastly, we were taken back to the vineyard for local food and wine. The food, brioche rolls with local produce, were very tasty and the sommelier talked us through the wine pairings. The wine was high quality (we bought some bottles to take home from the gift shop!!) and rounded off the experience perfectly. Can highly recommend this tour, a very informative way to discover more about Etna and it's surroundings.

Mount Etna was absolutely amazing and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The scenery was incredible, and the whole experience was so interesting and memorable. Walking around the volcanic landscape and seeing Etna up close was unlike anything we had ever done before. Everything felt well organized, and we learned a lot along the way. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sicily.
Very good trip started 830am back at hotel for 3pm. Our Driver from Go Etna was Sergei, who was magnificent. Although there was a language barrier Sergei really tried hard to explain things which we understood. He also stopped off at several points, before and after the tour so going the extra mile. The tour itself was well presented but we thought we would go a little higher up the mountain. In all though well organised and thank you Sergei!
Roberto was exceptional. Knowledgeable, kind, caring and made for a wonderful day. Physically not challenging (very short bursts of walking up hill). We had a great time.

Our rally point was changed and we were never notified. Our tour guide Daniele came picked us at the location Vivator provided. What started off as stressful day became a wonderful experience thanks to Daniele. It’s not only his knowledge of Etna but also his passion for Etna that gave us a perspective that we don’t think anyone else could have given us. His friendliness and charm were admirable. You would definitely not be disappointed having him as your guide. It will a memorable tour because he goes the extra mile. At the end of the tour the only disappointment you will have is that you didn’t have enough time to be with Daniele. When you go for the light lunch they do not allow your tour guide to stay with you. They really should reconsider that because it gives you more time with your guide to discuss what you experienced. We walked part of Etna, knowing craters and lava caves. Our guide Diego explained everything with great knowledge, attention, and fun. Great lunch with snacks and wines.
