Our tour of the Royal Palace was outstanding, especially our tour guide Cristiana. She communicated in advance of the tour, met us promptly at the start time and skipped the line for quick entry. The Royal Palace was spectacular and Cristiana provided wonderful commentary and historical perspective.

We paid 345 d for a private tour. No tix bought. We had to stand in line
The title says everything. I was so aggravated by this. I would have bought tix in advance like I did for the Prado. Absolutely ridiculous!

Great tour of an amazing building
We really enjoyed our visit to the palace, Laura was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the history behind the palace and the incredible precious items inside. The porcelain room was our favourite!

Anna M. Made our visit to the Palace very special
Anna M. Was an outstanding guide, art major plus masters and she had a notebook of key Spanish maps and leaders which were very helpful in our understanding of Spanish history. She was patient and gracious with her time as the 4 of us adults had many questions and we over time a bit but she was never in rush. I would highly recommend Anna M. To anyone visiting the palace.

Our Guide Made the Tour!
Our guide Florine was incredible. Best tour guide by far on the two week trip. He was easy to understand, assisted us in getting a wheel chair for our 80 year old mother and was overall a very kind person.
This tour stats that it has hotel pick up, which we understood to be transportation to the palace, it should say "your guide will meet you and walk to the palace with you" instead of hotel pick up. Other than the description being slightly miss leading I would say this is a really great tour!

Hello Cassandra, thank you for your review of your private tour of Madrid's Royal Palace and Prado Museum, it was a pleasure to organize this activity for your family.
Regarding hotel pick-up, this is always included in the tour. If your hotel is very close to the palace (as was your case), there's no point in taking a cab, as you'll lose time. If the hotel is further away, we always use a cab (offered in the tour). Our tours are suitable for everyone, and we make sure that transfers are as convenient as possible. The Madrid Discovery team wishes you a wonderful vacation in Spain.

Private Royal Palace tour
Laura was our tour guide today and was amazing! Highly recommend the private tour with her.
We were able to skip the line which was very nice. She provided us with a lot of historical background and was very knowledgeable. She explained things in a way that flowed well and helped us understand. Grateful for this tour!
