Tour was 2 hours, but museum has massive collection, so 2 hours just scratches the surface. That being said our guide did an excellent job showing and explaining the highlights.

We had a fantastic two hour tour of the Prado Museum. Sirsa was our guide. She gave an excellent presentation of the art and history of Spain. Of course we mostly saw the highlights, but it was perfect for what we wanted and was a highlight of our time in Madrid.

This was our first visit to the Museo del Prado and this tour was worth every penny! Without Laura’s expertise, knowledge and guidance, our visit to this prominent museum would not have been nearly as enjoyable. One could easily find himself aimlessly wandering from room to room. Our guide provided much needed historical background for Spain, as well the art history pertaining to each specific painting we saw. We learned about many of the important artists and their pieces in this collection. Thanks to Laura, we left the museum with a the feeling of being both enlightened and informed. 😊
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We are so pleased to hear that Laura helped you discover the Prado beyond the paintings themselves during your private guided tour. Understanding the historical context and the stories behind each masterpiece is what transforms a museum visit into a truly memorable experience, and we're delighted that you experienced just that. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to Laura. She'll be grateful to know that her passion and knowledge made such a positive impact on your visit. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Madrid for another cultural adventure in the future! Best wishes,

We found Sirsa to be an excellent guide, professional, knowledgeable, and with a passion for the paintings she brought to life for us. She gives so much context to the art, the place, the time, the culture of the time, the medium and fascinating details about the artist. Our time at the Prado was well paced, and the two hours passed by so fast with such an articulate and thoughtful guide.
