It was a great experience! I liked that it was educational with story telling. My kids enjoyed it as well.

Great experience…learnt heaps about local culture and customs. Museum was also very good. So much to see it could have filled a whole day.

The experience was fantastic, the people were very informative and talented. The museum was very large, which got a bit confusing

The museum is beautiful, but the best part of the experience was learning about the Māori people and watching the Haka being performed. An excellent explanation of this traditional dance made the price of admission worth it.

The museum is interesting but by far the stand out is the Maori cultural experience, incredibly powerful and educational. Cannot miss this if you come to Auckland!

Entertaining and educational. My son and I enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to understand a little about the Maori culture.

An amazing, informative spiritual experience

The Moari culture experience was truly amazing and enjoyable. The voucher included museum entrance and so after the show you can tour the museum until it closes. You would need to find your way there though, however uber picks up and drops off at the museum so it’s very convenient.

I visited 17 years ago and it was so wonderful that I took my family back this time. The last time we did it was in a place that mimicked a Māori meeting place on the ground floor, but this time it was in a theater upstairs because the ground floor was closed. There were two performers, one male and one female. The two men may have Māori blood in them, but by all accounts they are European. It was completely different from the image shown. I'm disappointed. It's not so much a Maori cultural experience as a performance show by someone who is a good Māori dancer. I regretted paying $35. If you came to Japan to see Maiko perform, how would you feel if she were European? The Maori cultural experience this time was only uncomfortable. It's not worth going. Māori cultural experiences should go elsewhere.

The Museum is an absolute joy to visit. It is impressively set out, exploding with interesting and informative experiences. The Māori theatre display was moving, beautiful and inclusive. Don’t miss it!
