The tour company screwed up did not get me to the place set up a bad arrangement I would not go with via tour anywhere after this experience. I've used them many times and this was the worst I've ever seen. They were non-responsive non-helpful and did not get me to my location

We did reach out several days in advance to confirm your pick-up location. When we received your response, you mentioned you were staying in San Jose, which is a 4-hour drive from Monteverde. Since our included transportation service operates only within the tour's location area, we offered alternatives such as meeting in Monteverde or arranging roundtrip transportation from your location. Unfortunately, it seems we were unable to find a solution that worked for you. We understand your frustration and regret that we could not accommodate your needs this time. We take your feedback seriously and will continue to review and improve our communication with future guests to ensure a smoother experience. We also recommend travelers carefully review the tour description, what's included, and where the tour takes place to avoid any misunderstandings. Had we known about your location earlier, we would’ve been more than happy to offer you other tour options closer to your area. Per our booking confirmation, our pick up was from our Lodge which they didn’t pick us up. We went with our own car to park.
Was really nervous to do this as I hate heights but we booked a guide and walked across 4 hanging bridges The group we were with were really accommodating to my fear which I’m Very grateful for So glad I did it !
It was worthwhile to do this hike with a guide as we got to see some interesting things--animals, insects, birds--that we would have otherwise missed. Some highlights were seeing a bat in its cave and a tarantula in its nest/hiding place.

The actual cloud forest was outstanding. However the transportation was very poor. Picked up and then just dropped of at the bridges with no explanation of what happened next. When the walk completed nobody explained where you had to get on to get the bus back to town. When asked the staff what happens they were very curt. They run buses only hourly, should really be every half hour. Did get a bus but because the staff were impolite it left a sour note.

I loved the walk , I recommend going from 14:00 h there was no one, the spectacular views we saw a hummingbird, monkeys, birds a lot of vegetation, the incredible views and very well marked , you can go perfectly without the need for a guide , essential to visit it.

It was a great easy walk. No clouds in the sky so we didn't get the "hidden/cloud forest" effect but still an amazing view.

Saw sloth, macaws and lots of birds - beautiful - loved the hanging bridges - easy managed trail - COVID protocols in place

The suspension bridges, wildlife and rainforest views are amazing here! Saw several spider monkeys swinging nearby through the trees. Was rainy even though it's officially dry season, but hey what do you expect for a rainforest! This is at Selvatura Park instead of the official Monteverde cloud forest and includes hotel pickup and dropoff, but you are on your own to walk through the bridges at your own pace. A couple confusion spots though; I booked through viator so it was paid ahead of time, therefore I didn't have any money on me. When I went up to get my tickets, they asked for payment. About 15 minutes and 3 phone calls later, they finally admitted I had already paid through Viator and Viator just hadn't given them the okay. Then they said the bus back to the hotel would be at 4:30, but at 4 another bus arrived and said they would bring us back to hotel too. I happened to be chatting with someone I met on the tour when they went up to ask about the bus. The operator thought we were together and dropped up both off at his hotel, refusing to drop me off at mine. Luckily, my new friend had a rental car and was kind enough to drive me back to my hotel.

There were 8 suspension bridges and the views were great. Given a 4 because of the weather but it’s a cloud rainforest, so it’s expected! They picked us up on time and well organised
