We booked the excursion to the pyramids near Cairo by car with Memnon-Reisen; the excursion was perfectly organized. We were picked up on time by our two drivers at 1:45 AM; the contact was very friendly and warm from the beginning, and we felt safe and well taken care of at all times. (Although we were rather skeptical at first because of the long travel time) Our guide Atef joined us shortly before we reached the pyramids. He was able to explain everything to us very well in German, addressed our wishes, and we had a lot of fun with him. Unforgettable day in Cairo! The organization was really top-notch. We saw an incredible amount and learned a great deal about the history of Egypt in the process. The pyramids, the Sphinx, and the new museum were absolutely impressive – the museum in particular thrilled us! A very big thank you also to Magdi. He was simply great, always kept an eye on the time, and even reorganized the planned lunch into dinner without further ado. In between, he let us get some falafel – simply perfect! And his driver: amazing! 😄 Driving in Cairo is truly an "organized chaos" – an experience in itself! During dinner together, we were also able to get to know your great culinary art: Kofta, chicken, various dips, and to finish, the beautiful cake for the men. 🎂 It was an all-around beautiful and unforgettable day that we will remember for a long time. We spent a wonderful and absolutely unforgettable day in Cairo yesterday! The excursion was full of impressive moments that will remain in our memories for a long time. Experiencing the fascination of the gigantic pyramids up close was simply breathtaking, and the visit to the museum was also absolutely magical. What an experience! Everything was just right here! We were picked up on time right at the hotel, and the flights were as well. Our guide Jakob, a top-trained Egyptologist who also studied German language and literature, did everything to ensure that we had a truly entertaining and extremely varied day. Thank you very much again for that! We started in the old town, where we were able to dive into a completely different world in a one-hour quick tour. We continued on to the pyramids and the Sphinx. Thanks to Jakob's good insider knowledge, we were able to get a very good overview and soak up the most important impressions here. Impressive! Afterward, there was a short lunch break. The new Egyptian Museum was great, which could actually take at least one to two days to explore. Without Jakob's knowledge and guidance on the essentials, we would have been completely overwhelmed here! It is incredible what this culture has produced and what background information Jakob was able to give us about it; hats off to him!! Afterwards, there was still time for an optional 40-minute Nile cruise (at sunset), a wonderful conclusion!!! Thanks to the good organization, we had almost no waiting times; they just know their way around.... Thanks also to the bus driver, who brought us safely through bustling Cairo all day long. Tour of Cairo with my wife on a private trip by plane from Hurghada. The organization was top-notch. We were picked up at the hotel in a private vehicle with a discreet and professional driver. The round-trip flight went well. The day in Cairo was magnificent. We were accompanied by the French-speaking Egyptologist guide Beshoy. An excellent guide whom I recommend. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. He provided good advice throughout the day. The experience of visiting the pyramids, sphinx, and the grand museum was more interesting with someone who enriched the tour with their explanations and anecdotes. Special mention also to the private driver in Cairo. Who followed us all day and was very pleasant. In short, a very beautiful day rich in memories. I recommend it.

There were six of us as a family. The organization was perfect. Hotel pickup, stopover on the way to Cairo! Good drivers, 2 alternating so that the rules are followed and no one gets overtired.
