Our guide was very friendly and welcoming throughout the day, which made the trip pleasant. However, the favela portion felt quite rushed—it was mostly just a quick, somewhat precarious motorcycle ride to the top followed by a brief walk back down, rather than a deeper cultural exploration. The hike up the mountain was great exercise and well-routed, though heavy cloud cover unfortunately obstructed what would have been incredible summit views. Overall, a good day out, but the itinerary could be expanded for a more immersive feel.

It was a great hike, our guide was Dudu. We really liked going through favelas on bikes (our guide also told us lots of interesting information) and then hiking in morning forest. The only thing is that clouds blocked the view as soon as we riched the top so try to pick a nice sunny day before going. Anyway, we enjoyed the experience.

A fantastic hike with Dudu! An incredible view of Rio, the beaches, and the Corcovado. The climb was a real challenge for us, who are weekend hikers over 45, but it was worth it! Dudu was attentive and kind. Moreover, he has a real talent for photography. I highly recommend it!

Chris our guide was so lovely and it’s a great but steep climb. The views on the way up and at the top are amazing. The motorcycle ride to the start of the walk was so fun. Chris who is from the local area then took us back down walking through the favela and it was nice to see a local area with a local.

Great tour. Really enjoyed my tour guide. Knowledgeable and solid english. I did the favela and 2 brothers hike/tour. It was about 4-4.5 hours long
