My girlfriend and I spent a week in Rio and we luckily reached out to Miguel for the City tour on our first day! He was so great that we decided to do 4 excursions with him and his team during the week that we were here, and it did NOT disappoint. Miguel was amazing, his guidance throughout all of the tours was amazing, and he was so helpful and responsive on all of our questions that it made our trip to Rio so much easier and enjoyable. We did absolutely everything that we wanted and had a 10/10 experience with him. We did the full city tour, the favela tour, tunica forest tour and Pedra da Tartaruga rappelling. It is also al tailored to your needs. If you come to Rio and don’t reach out to Miguel you’re missing out in my opinion!

Miguel single handedly saved my trip to Rio!! He was so helpful on 2 dream tours, Christ the Redeemer & Pedra do Telegraphico! I originally took a tour that ended up being rained out...and my flight was the next morning. I was beyind disappointed, as I literally came to Rio de Janeiro to see these things, as well as experience the culture of the country. I got Miguel's number from another guide and he promised me, he'd gage the rain and time our tours perfectly so I could see everything I wanted to see. I was a little skeptical, but he came highly recommended. I changed my flight and said a prayer and the next day was an amazing day in Rio🇧🇷 Miguel was super knowledgeable of the country, I learned so much from him, but he was also very friendly, personable and encouraging, especially during the hike to Pedra do Telegraphico. People travel from all over the world to see this rock, and as challenging as the climb was at times, Miguel kept encouraging me. We stopped, he even had water for me and we made it to the top, which was WELL WORTH the climb. Miguel Cordoba and his colleague Fernando took us To Christ The Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, The Steps and Tijuca National Park. Him and his Friend are the best Tour Guides I have experienced, very friendly, caring, accommodating and dedicated with good knowledge. I would strongly recommend them to take you around in Rio de Janeiro.

Miguel Cordoba Was an amazing guide and extremely knowledgeable. Me and my wife speak both Portuguese and English which was very beneficial but Miguel was amazing at explaining anything in fluent English. We had so much fun with him and he helped us to see all the amazing sites in Rio! Would definitely book with him again

The best tour guide and best tours you’ll find in Rio! I actually grew up in Rio, but have lived in the US for a decade now. I hadn’t been to Brazil in 4 years and my partner and I decided we would be super active and visit many places since it was his first time in my country. Miguel is one of the only English-speaking guides in Rio (and he also speaks Spanish), and that made a huge difference not only for my partner, but for me not having to translate everything (Last time I visited Brazil I got hoarse from having to translate everything everywhere, and it’s not relaxing), so that was amazing already. We started with a couple of tours I had never done, hiking, climbing and rappelling at Morro do Cantagalo, and Canyoning on waterfalls at Cachoeira do Horto. Miguel is very patient in teaching anybody how to climb (or help you up with the rope if you can’t make it 🤣), and it makes the whole experience really amazing and exciting! He also shares a lot of history and stories from different areas and places as we go, which makes every tour more interactive and interesting. This was my first time climbing and canyoning, and I did it!! And it was sooo fun!! When you reach the top of a hill in Rio, or the bottom of a waterfall in Rio… it’s just magical! I can say that these tours with Xperiencer made me fall in love with my city all over again ❤️! I decided to also climb the Sugar Loaf, and that was tough and challenging, but SOO WORTH IT. There are many routes, and Miguel can explain those to you based on your level of skill. And of course, we also did Morro Dois Irmaos. I had done it with Miguel 4 years ago but I never did it when I lived there… because I was afraid. But honestly, I went again because the first experience was so great, the views are some of the best, the wolkswagen or mototaxi ride up the favela is super exciting, the people are kind and welcoming, you feel safe, and the rappel pictures you can take up there are to die for!! Don’t forget the all-you-can-drink sugar cane juice and pastel at the beginning of Favela do Vidigal! I’m fit, and always down to doing new things and difficult adventures, but Miguel also has a bunch of other tours that cater to everyone!!
