Ducasse sur Seine Location and itinerary - great Space on the boat - great Food - fine with exceptions Slow service - forgivable Bad service - unforgivable Bad sommelier - really quite sad It won’t even take three minutes to get you to the boat from Trocadéro Park, as the boat is moored right next to the Pont d’Iéna. All you have to do is descend the 40 or so stairs on the western side of the bridge. After the descent, you simply walk a few meters upstream and then take a seat either on the boat, or on the open air benches onboard the pontoon. If you don’t want to take the stairs, you might be able to drive a small car to the vicinity of the boat (and I’m not sure if taxis are allowed). Otherwise, you will have to walk 1500 ft (500 meters) downstream along the bank, entering the bank at Rue de La Manutention, which happens to be the route I took. Thanks to which I discovered the Don Juan II - the Michelin starred cruise by Frederic Anton, the Gault Millaut chef of 2025. That is my choice for my next river cruise. Back to the Ducasse Seine, you might be forgiven for feeling like an employee of a large corporation. All the staff are young, extremely good looking and slightly mechanical. But it’s all good - everyone had a human side. Although our waiter was sweet and very personable, he kept forgetting to bring extra requests like bread. I quickly got excited by two things about wine. First, the wine list evokes possibilities at every price range. And second, I was excited to see that the sommeliere was a lady. Unfortunately, she has completely overglossed one of the jewels on the wine list: the white Clos des Monts Luisants 2020 by Ponsot, which is the only Premier Cru Aligoté produced in the Cote de Nuits. I tried to gently steer her toward other grapes but our poor sommeliere insisted that this was 100% Chardonnay. Sad. She claimed to have tasted the wine recently, but how did she explain the vibrant acidity in this 2020? Service quickly got quite unacceptable. Despite repeated requests, they failed to reduce air conditioning - in October at 8 pm. After one companion did not like their desert, the waitress whisked it away without asking, only to come back and report to us that she ran out of the other dessert. With nothing else to offer. Other than service, the boat itself is beautiful and spacious. Tables are spaced out and there is the top deck to roam freely. The cruise reached all the way to Gare de Lyon / Austerlitz and back, smoothly and quietly.

At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, a delicious 3-course lunch, accompanied by wines, all smoothly along the water in Paris with a view of all the monuments. It is difficult to do better and to complain. My partner's birthday. Haute couture meal with very professional, very kind, very friendly staff. Really, it is a pleasure to see young people in our country passionate about their profession in the service of one of our greatest culinary talents! So it's certain, it may not be for everyone, but saving up and doing it at least once in your life for a big event is really worth the trip. We are middle-class people, not regulars at 3-star restaurants, and you really have to be jaded about great restaurants to criticize the value for money of the service. Proud of my country that offers this to all the foreigners present this Saturday, August 8, 2026, for lunch! Long live great and good cuisine, long live France! 3 people from Nievre happy with their special trip to Paris for Ducasse en Seine.

Amazing. Classy electric boat; gorgeous food; spectacular scenery; wonderful service. Honestly, not inexpensive, but worth every cent/penny. From helping us onboard to leaving, it was 5 star. Lovely crew and no hideous commentary.

We had made the choice of lunch in three courses. The welcome and service are professional. The meal and food correspond to the expected standard. Cruise is a plus We were not disappointed

I wanted something special for my wife (and I) on our most recent trip to Paris. The Ducasse sur Seine dinner cruise sounded fantastic. In many ways, it was. But, it was also rather disappointing. To some extent it was perhaps us. Middle class Americans, perhaps not the best food connoisseurs. But. We wanted to try to expand our palates. We arrived early for dinner and basically stood for an hour riverside until the boat opened. The boat, the setting, the staff were all fantastic. We have traveled Europe enough to anticipate that portions will be smaller, but that there will be more of them. I was glad I had good cellphone service, so I could look up what we were eating. It was an adventure. I wish I could say we loved it - but, to be honest it was wasted on our poor palates. I left feeling the best of my meal was my wine and the bread. Everyone should have a $250/person dinner at least once in their life. I just wish it was a memory I cherished. Rather, than thinking we could have gone to Bordeaux for the same price.

Excellent experience, ideal setting and cuisine that lives up to the promise. How about 5*? Simply because given the standing of the place I thought it was a shame not to be part of the tables that were offered coffee at the end of the meal. I also asked for a red worm to accompany my dish and I never had it. So certainly I could have called a waiter but considering the standing I felt I didn’t have to. However, this did not spoil our experience.

The restaurant is set on a beautiful glass boat, offers an absolutely unforgettable experience. Between discovering high-level French gastronomy and cruising through the most emblematic bridges of Paris, everything is brought together for a magical moment. The dishes are very fine, with a real signature of the chef on each plate. The flavors are fair, balanced, and highlight the best French local products. As for wines, the selection is remarkable, with prestigious references such as Pierre Peters, Barons de Rothschild, Cristal or Dom Pérignon. There is also a great selection of French wines from different regions, perfect to accompany every step of the meal. Mood on the boat is chic and relaxed, with an exceptional panoramic view of Paris along the way. And if you’re lucky enough to take this fair weather cruise, don’t miss going up to the roof terrace to enjoy a coffee with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower – a real moment of grace. 💡 Small tip: this experience comes at a cost (count about €400 for two people), but if you are a lover of French gastronomy and want to have an exceptional dinner on the water, it is well worth it. A moment suspended in time, which I highly recommend to those who want to discover Paris differently, between refinement, flavors, and elegance

It could have been a very nice experience... The food is good, the Service nice but unfortunately we had a table in the middle of the boat ... opposite the entrance ... the only place where there is no sun breeze above the windows. As soon as we arrived it was incredible heat. It was July 26th .. a waiter offered to open a door nearby to create a draft but did not do so. As soon as our installation one of the two couples installed near us was able to change tables. We had lunch with far too high a temperature which ruined the experience for all three of us. Big disappointment. Even if the dishes were very good lunch in such conditions has no point!
