The gardens are a maze of wonderment. The experience is a lot of fun and interesting at the same time. The tour is very informative and our guide was really great sorry can't remember her name but she was great.

Absolutely stunning gardens and overall setting. The Japanese gardens are magnificent, tended with such care by the staff. St. Fiachra's garden is amazingly tranquil, with so many different paths to experience a new view of the setting. The museum and experience are really well worth the visit, again such helpful and friendly staff, Alistair provided excellent information and knowledge throughout our tour.

We had 7 in our group. One currently races horses back in the United States. This was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. The access to see the Studs, Mommas and Babies was incredible! We throughly enjoyed being able to stroll at our own pace and enjoy seeing all the horses. We also did the did the Irish Race Horse Experience. This was so much fun. You absolutely have to do this if you visit. We absolutely loved the entire experience.

we had a lovely day out, plenty of parking and seating in picnic area, staff were very pleasant and enjoyed the experience. just one downside with all the ponds/rivers the was no fish, which was very surprising for the japanese gardens.

Fabulous experience, spent 3 hours there. Due to the time of the year and mid week minimal crowds, ended up having personalised tour of the horses and breeding facility. The guide did not rush considering I was the only one who turned up for the allocated booking time, very thorough in his knowledge and making me feel welcome. Managed to get in on seniors admission fee, great value for money not only the horse stud but the Japanese gardens are exquisite. I could only imagine what the entire establishment would be like further into spring and summer months. Highly recommended expedition for the entire family and all age groups

This trip was a a birthday present from my friend to enjoy an experience together. I booked the free Irish National Stud tour, as it was free but it was actually the highlight of the day! We were very fortunate to have a lovely, young lad, Daniel, as our guide. He was a natural guide with an obvious passion for his job. He gave us facts about the baby foals season, interesting personal experience stories and answered any questions the group had. When we found out he was an intern who had only started about 4 months ago, we were amazed, as he had sounded like, he worked on the stud for a good while. He was excellent and a real asset to the stud, giving us a very enjoyable tour that made our day.

Loved the whole time , the information provided and the pace of walk All exceptional . Being able to picnic and stroll around just added to it all Japanese Garden was fun and we enjoyed finding the markers and exploring

We had a great morning out at the national stud and garden. We saw three or four grand old race winning horses to the delight of us all. The care that these horses get was evident so much genuine love and commitment. The race horse experience was good fun too. Lots of interaction displays and lots of information to read. The final “race” after was great fun too! Well worth a visit / we were rushed that day and could have spent more time there - hopefully we will be back to see the gardens next time.

Stunning property and gardens. Tour guide was very informative. Horses were outside for visitors to view ; studs and mares with foals. Japanese Garden was spectacular. Could have spent more time there. Lunch on premises was reasonably priced and good quality.
