Enjoyed having multiple activities to participate in with many museums, a ride and a couple air conditioned places to enter. I think we were there on a record hot day!
Beautiful grounds! We enjoyed our time there very much. There is nothing like the driveway approaching the main house lined with those trees! The tour of the house is minimal because the upstairs is still used so you only see about three rooms - that was disappointing. The ride around the plantation was educational and interesting. It was a lovely day.
Every tour guide we listened to had information that was very interesting and informative. I highly recommend this.

Informative and friendly tours. They plan the times perfectly that you can see and hear every talk in 2-2.5 hours. I liked the tractor ride a lot.
It’s a beautiful plantation with plenty to do. Take lots of pictures. Take every tour and listen to every lecture. It’s time well spent . The beer they make from their fruit is fantastic. Overall it was a great time.
Nice plantation with great overview of the history of the area and a sobering look at slavery.
Facilities are in excellent condition. Docents are knowledgeable and helpful. Appreciated understanding the dynamics of a working farm and the economics involved to make the enterprise work. The oaks grand entryway is amazing.
It was beautiful and we learned so much. It was a great learning experience for my kids. We do wish we could have learned more about the gulloh, that wasn't long enough (although the location for that talk would have been too hot for longer)
