Yahya is a very welcoming and accommodating guide. Because it was a private tour he was open to helping me see the things in the Medina I was most interested in while making sure I had all the relevant information and top locations/landmarks. A mix of cultural and historical facts with personal touches and stories throughout the tour. I really appreciated the care my guide provided on my personalized tour.

Hassan was a great guide. Couldn't have covered everything without him. Avoid taking the tour on a Friday as most things are closed (although that also means that it is less crowded.) Would've liked to hear more historic facts, but overall, a good experience.

Just finished an amazing walking tour this morning in the Medina of Fez with Yaya. We booked for 3 hours but ended up spending nearly 4. Honestly, there’s no way we could have navigated the maze of narrow streets without him! He is knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He gave us a real picture of life in Fez and many practical tips on how to get around. I’m convinced he is the best guide around - highly recommend booking with Yaya if you’re visiting Fez!

The tour was interesting, the Mohammad guide very prepared and exhaustive, spoke a well understandable Italian and committed himself in this way. Very beautiful fes! The only flaw that bothered us is that these guides always take you to textile, leather, spices etc. cooperatives to make you buy. It's true that you don't have to shop, but it's always annoying. I choose if and where to buy. Then the time devoted to these things could be used to visit something more.
We had an incredible experience exploring the Medina in Fez thanks to our guide. He truly made the city come alive for us. Not only did he take us through all the must-see cultural and historical spots, but he also knew exactly where to go for the best photo opportunities — the kind you would never find on your own. Every turn felt intentional and thoughtfully planned. What really set him apart was the quality of the places he introduced us to. He took us to top-tier artisans — from exceptional weaving workshops to the finest bronze craftsmen and high-quality herbalists. You could immediately tell these were authentic, reputable places, not tourist traps. On top of that, he helped us negotiate fair prices, which made the whole shopping experience comfortable and stress-free. Words fail me to try and put into words how amazing this tour was. I was blown away with everything I saw and experienced on the way. As for our incredible guide Yahya he was the icing on the cake. His knowledge of the Medina and surrounds was second to none. His explanation of every site we visited was so interesting and he made you feel that you were going back in time. I was spellbound listening to his stories. Yahya was very attentive at all times and didn’t hesitate to allow you to browse in any of the shops along the way. We spent a fascinating day with Yaya in Fes today. First we toured the royal palace, Jewish quarter, old pottery factory & lookout over Fes. After a wonderful lunch we spent the afternoon in the Medina shopping & sightseeing including leather tanning area. Yaya made this day so special for us.
