Awesome views! The drive to the site and back is picturesque, and the glide down was peaceful, even when we did the roller coaster!
This was an incredible experience with breathtaking views. My operator (Andy) was spectacular, talking me through the process and making me feel comfortable prior to flight. We even got a chance to do a few tricks. Highly recommend this experience for some of the most epic views of Queenstown.
Awesome experience. From about 2200ft travelled 3.5km and was in the air about 15 minutes. My pilot Ty was excellent, great sense of humour and created photos to record a lasting memory. Recommended

Skytrek is the best! Good rate, they explain everything multiple times, everyone’s in a good mood and best spot to start from, highest in NZ at 700m. Pat, my paragliding buddy, was amazing! He really knows his stuff and I could tell he loves what he’s doing!
A fantastic experience. Togi was an experienced pilot who was informative and instilled me with confidence from the outset. I felt safe and yet exhilarated flying above the hills paragliding with amazing views.
They did a wonderful job with this. The guides were extremely friendly and experienced. They took safety very seriously and it was a gorgeous ride!!
Do not book with this company. The weather in Queenstown was cold windy and rainy all week. Three times I went to the business requested my money back. They refused. Then the day we were to go they said $150 per person to change. I will be demanding my money back from these crooks from Viator. However don’t even think about booking with these jerks!
Hi George, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your experience. I have conducted an investigation into the events around your situation and have had feedback from my frontline staff. Viator has a 24 hour cancellation policy. No cancellation request was received from Viator whom your booking was made through. You did request to cancel your booking directly with us the evening before your flight but this request fell within the 24 hour cancellation policy. The morning of the booking, you were present at our booking office and were made aware that we would be going ahead with the trip. As explained to you at the time, our flying site is a 20 minute drive away from our booking office and the weather in town does not reflect the weather at our flying site – Coronet Peak. At the time of your trip, you failed to show up despite our staff trying to call you and this was recorded as a ‘No-show’ with no refund. All our customers flew and enjoyed the experience despite the weather being cloudy. I have personally reviewed video footage of the weather at the launch site and found it to have been very good for flying. All the best, Skytrek.
We did the paragliding. It was amazing. We added this to our trip last minute and I highly recommend.
It was amazing. Experienced staff made the ride a dream excellence. Excellent views. Safe landing. It was exciting to feel the parachute transition between the air currents.
