Excellent trip and the guide was first class.

Excellent guide, Desiree is very enthusiastic, also very knowledgeable on her subject. It was a superbly well organised trip with the communication before we started, the whole thing was excellent from the minute we started to when we were dropped off . Lunch was lovely only 1 complaint, there was too much food. Overall excellent

It was an excellent day. Desiree, our guide, proved knowledgable, enthusiastic and has a great personality! The pace of the tour was just right considering how much we had to cover and the group wasn't too big. The restaurant was helpful adapting our lunch to meet our vegan needs and Desiree was there to facilitate that. Desiree had been our guide on another tour and we were very pleased to see her again. We came away having been educated and entertained! Highly recommended!

Informative. Great lunch. Huge crowds on grounds. Glad we went. Long day. Well organized bus trip but stops at several hotels.

Overall, the visit to Pompeii was disappointing. We were a large group amongst many and the ground was very uneven, so it was necessary to walk carefully. Unfortunately, our guide Erica walked rather quickly and did not stop often enough to collect all the group. Between trying not to trip and fall and stopping to take a photo, we and others were consistently 10 or more meters behind the guide. As such, we often couldn’t learn about what she was describing because she had moved on by the time we got there. She needed to slow down and make sure her group stayed together. Herculaneum was better but not without issues. We were supposed to be separated into two smalll groups with a second guide but due to a problem with the audio devices (I believe) we had to stay as a single large group. As a smaller, more even site the issue with staying together improved but there were still times when Erica had moved on before everyone in the group had reached the area she was describing. She was quite knowledgeable but it doesn’t matter if you can’t be there to hear it. Hopefully, this feedback will help improve both guide’s approaches and the tour experience for future groups. Customer experience should be the priority.

Thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Our guide Vincenzo was excellent - a fantastic storyteller, very knowledgeable and passionate about the history. It was an incredibly hot day and he made sure we were all comfortable and could manage the visit. Pick up and drop off as well as transport between the sites was seemless. The set menu lunch was perfectly adequate and the restaurant staff adjusted their menu to suit one of our party's lactose intolerance which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

A brilliant day out. Hard work in the heat in June but pleased we managed both sites in a day. Fabi the tour guide was excellent. Knowledgeable, fun, friendly and kept the group together and on time. The light lunch turned out to be 3 course with drinks. We had salad, pasta and lemon cake. The pick up from the hotel was amazing. A really great tour.

This is a Great way to see both sites with a convenient break for lunch in-between! Carmela was wonderful! She knows these sites so well which really facilitated efficient touring to the must see spots! She keeps a good pace up but you need to cover a lot of ground to see both sites so it worked well. You can rest on the ride back to town!
