Amble the city and see the canal.
Good all round tour. Our guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable and made it all fun. It's a bit busy at the canal when a boat is going through but well worth the view. The walking tour was excellent with lots of photo opportunities, it is about 45 minutes of walking.

They have to have $20...
They have to have $20 cash in addition to what you pay for the tour to actually get the ticket to enter the canal. The city tour is also very HOT! Dress lite and bring water!

Thank you for sharing these helpful tips, Amy. The Miraflores Locks entrance ticket is $20 per person and is separate from the tour price. The one shows before and after you book the tour on the exclusion list and the digital ticket you receive from viator. We’re sorry if that wasn’t clear before your visit. Panama City can also be very hot, so light clothing is always recommended for tropical westher and water is always available in the van for that purpose. We appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoyed seeing the Canal and the city.
