I took his tour to the Dong Ho painting village where I got to try first-hand the making of a traditional Vietnamese craft, Dong Ho paintings, from one of its last remaining masters, an absolutely priceless experience. Duc is a brilliant curator of tours: the craft learning aside he got me to try authentic, traditional regional food in restaurants off the tourist circuit to get a real experience of Vietnam that is hard to find as a foreign visitor. A well informed guide, Duc is extremely pleasant, passionate and a fun person to travel around with, ensuring that you get the experience that you want and get the chance to have genuine, warm interactions with the local families he introduces you to.
