Our Godfather Tour with Sicily Best Tours was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! Of all the excursions we experienced during our 7-day Mediterranean cruise, this was by far our favorite! Booking was incredibly easy, and communication with Filippo was excellent throughout the entire process. On the day of our tour, our guide contacted us ahead of time with clear meeting instructions, making pickup completely stress-free. Sonia, our guide, and Francesco, our driver, were absolutely amazing! They were knowledgeable, funny, personable, and genuinely passionate about Sicily. Spending the day with them felt like exploring with old friends who were excited to share everything they knew and loved about their beautiful country. Our luxury van was immaculate, comfortable, and spacious, with plenty of room for all six passengers. Sonia thoughtfully offered us water, and both she and Francesco made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. What meant the most to me was how wonderfully they treated my 81-year-old mother, who uses a rollator. They were incredibly patient, attentive, and kind, making sure she felt comfortable and included. Their genuine concern for her well-being touched my heart and made the experience even more special. Exploring Savoca was magical! Sonia shared fascinating stories about the filming of The Godfather, along with the history and culture of Sicily. She knew many of the local shop owners, which gave the experience such a wonderful personal touch. In Taormina, we had plenty of time to explore, shop, and enjoy lunch independently. But what impressed me most was that they didn’t simply drop us off and leave us on our own. Sonia provided detailed pictures and directions to help us navigate the area. They were punctual, easy to reach by text, and always available when needed. We experienced several excursions during our cruise, but Sonia and Francesco were head and shoulders above every other guide and driver we encountered. Their professionalism, warmth, humor, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made this day unforgettable. I cannot recommend Sicily Best Tours highly enough! If you’re considering a Godfather Tour of Savoca and Taormina, book with them. And if you’re lucky enough to have Sonia and Francesco, you’re in for a truly wonderful experience! Sonia was SO accommodating, my husband wasn't feeling well so I went by myself. She was so understanding. And knew so much about Sicily and the area we were in. We went to Mt Etna and the surrounding area. Her husband was the driver and a skilled one at that. I had one of the best " rice cones" of all time. Filled with Rice, meat sauce and Mozzarella cheese. She even stopped at the pharmacy to get something for my husband. YOU were awesome Sonia and so was your husband. And she speaks perfect English! What a TREAT!Thanks for giving me a tour that I will never forget. 😁😁👍

Filippo is an outstanding professional, polite, reliable and truly helpful. Within the framework of the Erasmus program, he arranged our transfer from Catania Airport to Messina smoothly and efficiently. We also booked a tour with him to Mount Etna, Taormina and Savoca, which was an excellent experience. He was always punctual, friendly and very informative, making sure everything was well organized and enjoyable. I highly recommend his services.

Our tour guide, Sonia was outstanding. Her driver was excellent. She customized the tour to meet our needs and offered excellent advice. The parts of Sicily we visited were beautiful! Definitely want to return. The only complaint I had, which hasn’t nothing to do with Sonia who I can’t emphasize enough was amazing, was that the seats in the van that faced back were an issue. A few in our group got car sick in the bumpy windy roads. Facing the back I couldn’t appreciate the scenery. Definite fail. Would definitely use Sonia again, but in a different vehicle.

This private tour was terrific. Sonja and Giancarlo (our driver) were accommodating guides making the day a great experience. We were picked up in a comfortable van, on time at the cruise ship and returned to the ship with time to spare. Throughout the day they asked us where we wanted to stop and guided us with allotted time frames so we could accomplish everything we wanted to see and do. Sonja was knowledgeable, professional and a joy to spend the day with. We went to the small town( Savoca) where part of The Godfather was filmed (now I will have to watch the movie again!). Also, if you are going to Mount Etna I would suggest a coat! I would definitely suggest this tour!

Sonja & Giancarlo were terrific guides on a real fun tour. They picked us up on time & were at each stop on time. We had plenty of time without getting rushed along. Back at the dock with time to spare. We shared stories & chatted thru the day. They were professional & enjoyable, couldn't ask for a better team. The stops were good, beautiful places with lots of history. Definitely a tour to take part in.

Filipino and Erika were great! We were able to see so much and learn about the history and stories of Sicily from Erika while Filipino navigated the narrow streets. The tour made the most of our time at shore in the comfort of a luxury van.

We loved this tour so much that we came back again with friends to experience it once more! The Etna, Taormina, and Savoca tour is absolutely wonderful, with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable places. Erika is an amazing guide – knowledgeable, kind, and passionate – while Filippo is a fantastic driver, always professional and friendly. Together they make the perfect team. Both times we had an incredible experience, and our friends were just as impressed. Truly unforgettable and highly recommended!

Excelent tour given by the owner of the company, you can't go wrong. Special attention to details, very accomodating. I really liked this tour, Mt Edna and Taormina are a plus. Personalized tour. You can take this tour in English, Spanish and of course Italian. Thank you very much Filippo.
