Viator should review the instructions for the bus stop. We should have gotten off the bus at the first stop not the second. We were totally lost and in trouble, we managed to get a call through to Viator where we were told by the representative the tour would start in 5 mins and the guide wouldn’t wait for us. In fact in the end he hung up on us. There should have been a guide to meet us off the bus. The joke was there where only 4 of us on the small group tour and we’d all gotten off at the second stop - as per Viator instructions. After many phone calls and upset we managed to get a taxi back to the correct stop and hotel to find our guide. I still can’t understand why Viator would send us blindly into a foreign country with the incorrect instructions.

Worth the bus ride!

Excellent Tour with Knowledgeable Guide
Be prepared to navigate the bus to and from Bratislava on your own (although very clear instructions are provided). The tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. She really helped us understand what we were seeing and make sense of the Old Town area. I wish we had done a similar tour in other countries. Also, don't forget your passport or they won't let you on the bus!

Slovak Line bus is a nightmare.
You MUST bring your passport. The bus driver bringing us back to Vienna refused to let us on the bus. We had to find another way back… at extra cost.
