We used welcome pickups for 4 separate rides and had booked way in advance. All 4 drivers were on time, friendly and informative! We used the service to pickup at the airport to get us to our apartment, from the apartment to the cruise terminal, from the cruise terminal to a layover hotel, then finally from the hotel to the airport. Everything went as planned. We would definitely use this service again. Also liked that within the app, you can see where the driver was and also has the means to communicate directly if needed.

We recently used Welcome Pickups for our round-trip transfers between Athens International Airport and our hotel, and overall, we had a really good experience. Both of our drivers were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Being offered chilled bottled water immediately upon entering the car was a very thoughtful and appreciated touch. Our drivers acted as mini-tour guides, pointing out significant landmarks and areas of interest as we drove. It was a great introduction to the city. The only minor issue we encountered was the pickup location upon arrival. As first-time visitors to Athens, we were a bit disoriented in the airport and expected the driver to be waiting inside the terminal with a name sign. Instead, we had to navigate our way to the curb to meet him. If you are unfamiliar with the airport layout, I’d recommend clarifying the exact meeting point beforehand to avoid any confusion. Despite the slight confusion at the start, the quality of the ride and the friendliness of the staff were top-notch. We definitely recommend Welcome Pickups for anyone visiting Athens and would certainly use their service again.
