***ROY IS THE BEST!!!*** I booked this tour for my friend and I and we both had an amazing experience! The villages we passed through on the way to Corjuem Fort were energetic and vibrant places. Roy our guide/driver picked us up from a central Panjim location (which was easily adjusted as per our itinerary as it was not the accomodation we were staying at) and was friendly and welcoming from the get-go. Communication with organisers was very good and responsive. Roy explained the significance and history of many of the sites we passed through and not just the key stops for the tour. He allowed us time to get out of the car and take photos of the surroundings at each location while he patiently waited for us and also helped us take photos! He even let us experience a church which was not on the itinerary so definitely a bonus. Roy was our personal guide around Mapusa Markets which was a very exciting and stimulating experience although, parking took a while to find! The Goan pork chorizo is a must try! He also stopped by a drinks location to allows us to make some purchases on the way back to our accommodation. This is a tour for those looking for a more relaxed experience and taking in some of the more quiet everyday life experiences of people in these small towns.
