Lots of history and beautiful catedral and Royal Chapel. Our guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and engaging.

A very good experience, our guide Marta Soler was very responsible, her explanations were professional and detailed, and she actively answered all our questions. A pleasant journey of almost 3 hours. 😊

Marta (our guide) was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. We were fortunate to be able to go inside the Cathedral after the recent earthquake. Cathedral was better than expected. Royal Chapel was very interesting with the crypts of Ferdinand and Isabel.A beautiful place.

The cathedral is closed. For repairs. I did not know this when I booked and Viator took booking The guide apologized and toured the royal chapel but it was the cathedral I was most interested in seeong

Due to the recent earthquakes in Granada, the Cathedral was closed for entry. We found that our wonderful guide Laura instead was given extensive times to feature her incredible story telling ability - the drama of Granada in 1492-1500’s, stories of succession, power, intrigue, ambition and even potentially murder that led to the formation of modern Spain. In giving the context of the tombs of Isabella and Ferdinand, we were made so much more aware of why these figures remain so important in European and World History, even today. An excellent foray into the downtown area of Granada, a circle of the Cathedral, and the best learning that comes only from travel! Highly recommend (and even perhaps better) with the Cathedral being closed. Thank you, Laura! You are brilliant!

The guide was wonderful. While the Cathedral was closed because of an earlier earthquake, she gave us a great tour of the Royal Chapel and the Historic District.

Although the cathedral was unfortunately still closed due to the earthquake, our guide Marta was still able to give us a good impression of the architecture and design of the church through comparisons with other buildings and churches. In addition, she took us on a small tour through the center (due to the cancellation of the cathedral) to show us the most important places and special features there. She impressed us very much with her expertise and her charming manner. It was a really very beautiful and educational tour that we can only recommend.

Tour operator attempted to reschedule the tour less than 24 hours before it began. When we were unable to make the newly offered time due to our departure from Granada, operator became unpleasant and unhelpful. We had to work with Viator to obtain a refund. We ended up visiting the cathedral independently and using the free audio guide.

We really enjoyed the guided tour of the cathedral and royal chapel. Marta was an excellent and friendly guide, with a great depth of knowledge about the cathedral, royal chapel and Spanish history. She was very happy to answer all of our questions and we enjoyed our time with her. We would definitely recommend this tour to others!
