The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. However, the independent contractor from Paris was difficult to reach and did not provide the adjusted pricing or contact me before charging full price for the tour when we were only going to the Highclere Castle/Downton Abbey part of the tour and not the Cotswolds. I attempted to contact him through Viator from May through July. They could not reach him either., When I finally spoke to him directly a few days before the tour he could not give me an adjusted price, but told me he would calculate it. However my American Express Card was charged the full amount, $2476.60, for a 7 to 8 hour tour. We were picked up at 9:00 and dropped of f around 13:00/1:00PM. I am contacting American Express regarding the charge.

I sincerely apologise for how difficult it was to reach us before your tour; that is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we have since changed how we monitor Viator messages so that every request is answered within 24 hours.
