I have travelled many locations in the world and taken many tours. Thomas was the best local guide I have ever had. This tour is an absolute must if you visit Rome. He was highly knowledge, very enthusiastic, and even brought along a photo book to shows us what the buildings or ruins looked like originally. The most complete tour I have ever been on.
We highly recommend this guided walking tour, however be very careful not to get split up from your group. Our guide allowed our group to stop at a good vantage point inside the Colosseum to take photos, and the next thing we knew our group was gone. We did not hear the announcement to proceed on our earbuds. We spent lots of time trying to find our guide/group, and we could hear the guide talking in our earbuds but we had no idea where they were. We never did find them, and thus we missed the Forum tour. I sent a recommendation to the tour company to have their guide say something like "we are now on the south side, second level" and then those who got split up would have a chance of finding them.
Highly recommend this company for their flexibility and accommodation. We were a private group who did not want a lengthy 3-hour tour in 100 degree weather. Instead, we wanted an abbreviated tour with all of the important highlights. Tomasso delivered and took us on an informative, awesome tour of the Colosseum
Tomasso was a great tour guide who was so knowledgeable about the city of Rome and all of the spots we visited. He was so passionate about his job and kept us entertained the whole time. He also took some very great pictures of our family! If we got give him 6 stars, we would. We definitely recommend taking a tour with Tomasso!
