Really glad I attended the Lava Show! Jess was very informative, and it was fascinating to learn more about Iceland's volcanic activity while actually seeing real lava up close. The experience included a video followed by a live presentation where we saw lava demonstrated in different forms. At about an hour, it was just the right length and a perfect activity for my last day in Reykjavík — especially after several half- and full-day tours. It was also a great option on a rainy day! It was about a 20–30 minute walk from the city center to the Grandi area, and there's an added bonus: the Omnom Chocolate Factory and store is nearby. Definitely worth combining the two while you're in the area. Thanks to Jess for an interesting and enjoyable presentation!

Cool show and hot lava
Great show by Alma, very knowledgeable. Very educational while keeping it interesting. The VIP experience seems worth it, you get some volcanic glass, an included drink, access to the VIP lounge that has different types of volcanic rocks and info about them, a higher viewing platform, an after show extra video, and you can ask the host more questions in the VIP lounge afterwards.

Expensive, half of the time was a video, the other half (25 min aprox) to see the lava.

Amazing lava show!
This was a fabulous experience and chance to see magma in person without risk - the heat was immense! We even got a piece of lava to take home. I would recommend this show to anyone visiting Reykjavik!

Interesting lava experience
Went in the inking this would be a bit touristy! I was wrong, it was a fun and interesting experience. Samantha the guide presenting the show was funny and knowledgeable. It was great to see the lava and feel the heat. I enjoyed learning about the geology and history as well as watching the lava flow and be manipulated. Definitely recommend.

Super cool guide
The lava was amazing to get so close and see its properites I had no clue. But, our host was amazingly knowledgable and maneuvered the lava in ways I never expected. So much cooler than the description. Suggestion to sit on the lower level so you can feel the heat.

Great time
Really enjoyed the show. We paid a little extra for the premium tickets, which was definitely worth it. We had access to the lounge upstairs and then seating in the balcony. As well, we got a nice piece of lava rock and a drink. The show was very informative and it was very cool to see real lava. Ian was very knowledgable and friendly and overall I would recommend this.
