We got to see so much in one day , truly amazing. Our driver Antonio was the best…. He was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. Wonderful tour.
We had a great driver/guide for the day, and an equally valuable guide for our time at Pompeii. As a result, we covered a lot of ground, but were able to pace ourselves as the weather was hot! Having a private car made the day much more manageable.
We had an excellent driver and tour guide at Pompeii. They were both terrific. However, spending all morning trying to get to some of the small towns along the Amalfi Coast, dealing with all the traffic, etc., was to some degree a large waste of time. We might have better just gone to Amalfi or whatever. Our driver handled things well, but I sense that the morning was not too productive. Pompeii in the afternoon is a bit hot, so one has to wonder if this should have been the first stop.
