This was a full-day tour. Pickup was seamless; the guide and driver were in text/phone contact with us starting about 30 min before pickup. We started by visiting the Guatavita town, then the lagoon. The guide (Sebastian) was amazing, with a lot of knowledge of history, the ecology of the region, and the myths surrounding the lagoon. He seamlessly went from English to Spanish, so nobody was "left out". We then headed to Zipaquira town and had lunch at an Asador (which had live music!), went on a little shopping detour, and then to the cathedral. The guide and driver stopped as needed (to get water or take pictures) and were overall a joy to travel with. We considered traveling by train on our own, but when we added the cost of train tickets, transportation to the entry points, entrance tickets, and the time to get from one place to another, this was a much better deal. Strongly recommend!

Very good tour, especially the one of the lake where the explanations about the flora and Native American history were interesting. The cathedral is also worth it

This was a wonderful experience while in Colombia. Sebastian was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. We were the only English speakers on our tour so he gave us a personal tour and also allowed the only English speakers from another group to join us. He told us details about each place that we would’ve never known otherwise. When it came to ordering things and talking to the group he translated for us in English as well as spoke to everyone in Spanish. He told jokes and took pictures as well as orchestrated our poses. He did a great job preparing us for the hike at the lagoon as it was briefly steep and we climbed elevations quickly. He treated us like a friend that had come to visit him. The cathedral tour was self guided with audio and he helped us through all of that as well. It was a great day!

A wonderful day. A full day from morning to evening in good company and with a super guide! Rodrigo is nice, culturally prepared, and capable of interacting with everyone due to his ability to speak various languages very well. Truly a great personal and collective enrichment. The enchanting places. The lagoon and the salt cathedral, which I believe is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in my life. You can breathe in spirituality and infinity (except for the last sparkling and hyper-commercial part (a bit out of place)).

We really liked the day! The lagoon and the salt cathedral are very complete, very different. The best part was the guide Sebastián. The activity with him is highly recommended!

Had a great trip with Sebastian as the tour guide. He was funny and did a great job explaining everything. I did the tour on my first full day in Colombia, so I was a little tired, but the drive time between the stops was perfect for rest breaks.
