The experience at Lapa was amazing, full of music and life, and seeing the funk dance at Rocinha was something unique — a true cultural immersion. At no time have we had problems; everything worked perfectly. I recommend too for those who want to live the night in an intense, safe and well-accompanied way. Very good experience, since you make the trip alone, and the idea was to go to areas where the nightlife was, so, it is not recommended to do it alone. I had your company at all times, agreed to my schedules, and super friendly.

It was my second time in Rio, but my first time experiencing the nightlife of Rio. I booked this tour thinking it was going to be a bar hooping experience, and was curious but not really excited since that is not my type of activity. Instead Anderson, delivered a cultural experience. I learned the why if the things I was going to experience, and then took us to the birthplace of Samba, and lived the night the Rio way. I had to cut short my adventure because I was leaving the next day, but I found one other reason to return to Rio. I need to experience their driving force, sustained by the resistance of the “ negros esclavizados” in their drive to live free, and that you can only experience it at night in Rio.

We are sorry you didn't like the tour. The tour you chose (PubCrawl) is a night tour where we go to street parties in Rio de Janeiro and show you how the locals usually have fun, listening to loud music and dancing into the early hours. There were 9 of us and the other passengers enjoyed the tour. You wanted to return to the hotel earlier than the agreed time on your own and we respected that. We also have other tours that cover the historical and cultural aspects, such as the UDR (Full Day on Rio). On this tour, which is during the day, we visit Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain and other places while the guide explains the history of each one. Once again, we are sorry you made the wrong choice. The tour you chose really is about partying and having fun at night, which is what we did. Anderson was AMAZING! I had such a great time bar hopping in Lapa. By the end of the night I felt like one of the locals. Anderson was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that I was having a good time even in the rain. Maybe a little too much fun.. I woke up with a hangover :). As a solo traveler wanting to experience nightlife and not have to worry about safety this experience was A+..
