My husband and I were in Zurich for an overnight layover and thought the best way to utilize our time was with this tour. We had the pleasure of walking around Zurich with Alexander. He was absolutely incredible, funny, and very knowledgeable about the history of Zürich. We are very happy we booked this tour.
Alexandra was wonderful and told us about all the important sites, history and food including how to eat fondue!

We never made it to the tour as we were not familiar with the trams in Zurich and then when we tried to order an uber the uber drivers couldn’t find us because we were on streets that had the trams which are unavailable to cars. We tried many times to contact the tour guide to inform them we were running late with no success. The tour guide should be available in case people get lost but they didn’t respond either by text or phone. We tried to even get a partial refund but Viator refused to give us our $230 back for the four of us. We will not be using Viator again. They should have mercy on people traveling who are not familiar with the countries they ate visiting. Viator sucks.!!

The tour was supposed to be private but there were others on our tour. Beware if you are expecting a private tour
Our guide Alexander was very knowledgeable about the Old Town of Zurich. At the beginning of the tour he asked if we had any time commitments after the stated two hour duration. When we told him we had no such commitments, he was relieved because he likes to tour longer. We learned a great deal about the history of Switzerland and Zürich.
This was a nice walk, but it wasn’t what we expected. Although the guide was very nice, we did not learn much of the history of Old Town Zürich.
I think try to avoid a Sunday and a 6pm tour. Everything was closed. No opportunity to see inside the churches or the Chagall windows.
