Sonia, our tour guide was awesome! She is from Toledo and is very knowledgeable about the history of the city. The tour was interesting and she had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour. Also, our driver, Jesus, was punctual and friendly.

The driver was great and accommodating. Javi, the guide, was very knowledgeable and interesting. He was very flexible and was very attentive to our needs. We loved the tour!

We had a wonderful private tour of Toledo with Javier and would highly recommend both him and Destino Toledo. Javier was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and engaging throughout the day. He did a fantastic job bringing Toledo’s history to life and explaining how the city’s Christian, Jewish, and Muslim heritage shaped its architecture, culture, and identity. Rather than simply giving us dates and facts, he provided the context and stories behind what we were seeing, which made the experience much more memorable. We especially appreciated how well paced and personalized the tour felt. Javier was happy to answer all of our questions, never made us feel rushed, and adjusted the experience naturally as the day went along. We came away feeling like we had a genuine understanding of Toledo rather than simply checking off the major sights. The private format was absolutely worth it. Having Javier guide us through the city allowed us to see and understand details we almost certainly would have missed on our own, while still keeping the day relaxed and enjoyable. A tip for anyone considering the tour: wear comfortable shoes—Toledo has plenty of hills and cobblestone streets. Javier was a major reason the day was such a highlight of our trip to Spain. We had an excellent experience and would happily recommend him and Destino Toledo to friends and family.

Our guide Javier was a true professional. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about Toledo and the history of the city and if Spain.He manner was engaging and very easy going. We would not have had the same experience in Toledo if we did not have Javier as our guide! He made our day there truly unforgettable!!

This was an all around great tour and experience. Picked up on time and drove to Toledo from our hotel and then back after the tour in a private van with comfort and AC. Once in Toledo met up with Javi who also communicated with me beforehand to know what to expect. Javi was awesome and extremely knowledgeable, personable and an awesome tour guide. Javi allowed us to adjust the tour based on what we wanted as a family including stops for souvenirs, water breaks and bathroom stops. He also threw in a few unexpected places which he had access to that it seemed other tour guides did not. It was an awesome tour with an awesome guide and would highly recommend him and the tour for a trip to Toledo!!!

This was an excellent tour of Toledo. Well worth the money. We were picked up at our hotel in Madrid. Alberto was a friendly and excellent driver. The car was very, very comfortable as well. Once in Toledo, Javi was an amazing guide. He gave us such a rich and textured history of the region while showing us around. He allowed us the flexibility to see what we wanted but still pointed out all the important sites. El Greco’s masterpiece is a must see, in my opinion, but the Cathedral is a close second. The world’s tallest marzipan sculpture was also pretty fun 😊. Overall a very enjoyable day!

Javier (the driver) picked us up at our hotel and was very accommodating and friendly. Our car trip to Toledo felt seamless and was in a very comfortable vehicle. Javier (different person, our tour guide) met us in Toledo and provided an incredible tour experience. It was a 10/10. Javy is friendly, personable, and showed an encyclopedic knowledge about almost any part of the city that you asked about. He is very engaging and can talk about anything from Toledo's soccer team (I casually asked) to his family's deep history in the area. If you enjoy history and some of the finer details of a place you're visiting, he can be especially interesting. He also helped us find a good spot for lunch. You come to Toledo, and Javy brings Toledo to you. I would highly recommend this tour experience.
