We had a wonderful life experience with our guide who spoke good English and was very flexible with our schedule The murals in the Markets were interesting to see and we learned a lot about the history of the country The shopping part of the experience was fun and we were amazed to see how large the flower part was We really enjoyed the food preparation of the tour and the women who owned the restaurant was charming Our salsa was delicious and our guide was very patient with us and helpful with directions This experience entails a lot of walking and a subway ride but its well worth it Our guide, a young lady was great Do yourself a favor and take the tour

The market tour with Mena was amazing! I learned some great stuff about Mexico City and shopping/cooking here for a vegan diet. Definitely make the huaraches, yum!

The market tour and cooking class was the highlight of our Mexico City trip! We are a family of five, including one teenager and two elementary school kids, and we all had a fabulous time! We visited markets that we never would have made it to on our own, learned a bit about the history of Mexico City, and made huaraches! It was SO fun to get our hands in the dough and get to cook the huaraches on the big griddle. Eating them was even more fun! My daughter said it was the best meal she had our entire trip! Sharon was our guide, and we loved spending the morning with her! She was so fun and accommodating with the kids, it was like hanging out with a friend:)

This tour was absolutely amazing. I got to experience the “Zest!” Of Mexico City. Through the city streets and trains, I got a true feel of the flavors and smells of the local markets in center of town. I also became a salsa making genius, which has pleased my family and friends alike. The tour was guided by experienced host, with cultural and historical knowledge. A most valued experience by far. Bravo

Loved everything on this tour. Walking in the streets and shopping for ingredients for salsa and then making and eating it too with Napoletas tacos. Just yummy. Sharon was awesome. Perfect English speaking guide.

Incredible experience! From start to finish, Mena was enthusiastic, knowledgable, and overall the best guide. We got to visit markets we'd never have come across otherwise, learn the history of each and behind some of the beautiful art within those markets, and have the best salsa we'd ever made! The salsa cooking lesson was so much fun and, of course, delicious. Thanks for this experience, Mena. I would encourage anyone considering this experience to go ahead and book :)

Mena is an incredible guide. We had such a fantastic time exploring authentic ingredients and ended off the tour eating an incredible meal. Would highly recommend!!

The Market was wonderful with all it's colours, nice people and the great food. Learned a lot about the different sorts of chilis and the making of an delicious Salsa.

Seeing 2 markets so different from one another was great. The food was really authentic and I absolutely loved learning how to make proper mexican salsa. I will definitely makes these salsas at home too. Don't eat before you go as there is so much food!
