The trip was rushed and we did were not taken to see the Buda because it was closed. I had hoped our tour guide would take us closer but he did not even try. Not happy w the experience. Very disappointing.

However, we would like to clarify that the Big Buddha has been indefinitely closed to tourists due to structural concerns following mudslides, and for that reason, it has been removed from our tour itinerary some time ago.
