Thinia was my guide, and she was wonderful, she is knowledgeable, well spoken, and fun! A very rainy start didn’t stop her from helping me have a great experience. I learned a lot. It was time well spent. This will probably be my only time at the Acropolis (I’m 75), and Thinia’s expertise and positive attitude made it all the more worthwhile,

This was an excellent tour with a fabulous lesson in history that made it feel like we were in ancient times. Our guide Lydia was fabulous! At a number of places on the Acropolis and the Agora she showed us photographs of the ruins as they exist now and then with a clear overlay with a painting of what the buildings used to look like. We had been up all night on a flight and the tour was late afternoon, yet she made it so interesting and enjoyable that the 3 hours flew by even in 96 degree F or 38 C heat and sun. Highly recommend!! Thank you Lydia.

Our guide Anastasia was knowledgeable and pleasant. We covered so much in a few hours. They do a great job now managing crowds. Exceeded expectations!

Informative and thorough tour guide. Made the tour very enjoyable! Explained the history very well including a book of reference for full visuals.

What an amazing experience this was. Everything from start to finish was handled promptly, including tickets, entrances. The highlight of the tour wasn’t the acropolis or the agora, although those are magnificent aspects of history. The highlight was honestly our guide Mariza. I’ve done a handful of these guided tours in different countries, and I can confidently say she was the best of the best. You can see truly how much she cares about what she is teaching, from her stories, to her emotions, to the amount of knowledge she possesses in her craft. We were blown away by her hospitality, her friendliness, and her intelligence about everything Greek history and mythology. Mariza was the TOUR! Meeting point was easy and efficient, tour was about 3 hours— it’s honestly worth every single penny! Book book! And ask for Mariza! You will be a better person for it.

Petros was an excellent guide: on-time, friendly and professional, gave us an exceptional commentary on the history of the site, kept a comfortable pace, made sure we had water, overall an excellent guide.

This was a perfect tour - not too long and not too short- to see the highlights of the Acropolis and Agora. Komissa was on time and the pick up was easy. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave us great recommendations for the rest of our time in Athens.

What a wonderfully paced and entertaining morning we just spent with our tour guide Mandio. We got the early start before the Acropolis got too hot and crowded and enjoyed our tour there before wandering down to the ancient agora to learn more about the golden age of Athens. We finished up the tour with a quick drink and a chat with Mandio before heading off through Plaka to see the changing of the guard at Syntagma square.

+1

What an enjoyable and entertaining experience. Manto is an engaging and knowledgeable guide. Because she was with us, we spent more time looking and taking in the sights than we would have done with a regular audio guide. We could ask questions whenever we wanted and the whole thing just became more interactive and memorable for all of us; even our teenage son. What a great way to spend a morning in Athens.

So glad we did this! Great guide and way less busy than acropolis. Worth it! Guide answered all our crazy questions and allowed time for pictures. Able to go at our pace. Very enjoyable!
