Mitsue, our tour guide in Kyoto was fantastic! She was very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history, culture, and hidden gems. With a perfect balance of calmness and insightful commentary, Mitsue brought the rich heritage of Kyoto to life. It was a cold day in Kyoto with intermittent rains but our tour guide Noriko made it so much fun! It was only me and my husband so it was a very nice private tour for us. She was very sweet and knowledgeable and told us the history and significance of each location that we went to. We were able to keep on schedule with the trains and buses because Noriko was so organized, even when we had to do some pit stops for snacks and bathroom breaks. She took great pictures too! It was our first time in Japan and visiting Kyoto, and we wanted to do a short afternoon tour to show the highlights of Kyoto and everything was perfect! This tour is highly recommended and we’d love to visit Kyoto again soon! 😍

We arrived by train from Osaka and unfortunately bur had a few hours. Our expectations were far exceeded and our guide was very competent , friendly, helpful, just great!

Yoshiko was the best guide! She was knowledgeable about the history of each of the three places we visited which were the Torii gates, the Golden Temple and the Bamboo Forest. We were able to see 3 of the places we had on our list all in one day. Yoshiko was especially helpful in helping us figure out which train to take the following day and helped us reserve our seats. We were so grateful for her kindness and assistance! Ask for her when you book this excellent tour!!

The friendliness and knowledge of our guide Cheia, she was a wonderful guide and really enjoyed her company.

We had a wonderful afternoon in Kyoto touring around with our tour guide Mitsue. She was very sweet, personable, knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of local insight about the sights, food, and transportation. We really appreciated the efficiency with which we were able to see all the sights given our quick stop over in Kyoto. We would highly recommend this tour!

After some initial confusion about our train station meetup, we connected with our guide Keiko. The tour was very personalized and informative. We got so much more out of our visits to the landmarks than we would have on our own. “Kei” was warm, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed this private half day tour with guide "Nick" alias Satoshi Nonake. He kept us informed via Whatsapp before the tour and was very organised with his timetable, catching of trains etc. Would have been a lot more dificult and time consuming on our own. He was friendly, engaging and took photos of us which he sent later. He also gave us thoughtful little gifts and importantly, didnt talk too much like some guides we have had before! Good value for money and thoroughly recommend.

We had our tour on 7th January, our tour guide Saori San (English speaking guide) is really friendly, helpful & responsible throughout the tour . We are also very pleased with her extra mile attitude to show us beautiful photo spots. We recommend the tour with her !
