We really enjoyed the experience; the boat was very quiet, respecting the environment and allowing us to enjoy it. It was very relaxing. We saw different species of birds that our guide pointed out to us.

Beautiful and informative ride. It is somewhat unfortunate that there are speedboats and airplanes around, but unfortunately, the organizer cannot change that…

We chose this because we liked the idea of the solar powered boat being more environmentally friendly than the alternatives. However we never escaped the noise from a multitude of other boats and we didn't travel very far into the Formosa natural park. Also disappointing that it was the wrong season for birdwatching. Our guide was enthusiastic and did her best to keep up our interest.

What a lovely way to spend an hour whilst killing time before heading to the airport. Brilliant captain who knew everything about the local area and wildlife - good fun as well. 25 euros well spent and well recommended.

Lovely chilled hour or so floating around on a solar powered boat. Being so quiet enabled us to get really close to some of the wild birds. Highly recomend😊

Booked the trip on the day as I was walking around looking at options, I was glad I picked this option as it was a great day out. I can't remember the girls name but she was very informative and entertaining throughout. She told us where the Flamingos might be and I rented a bike to cycle over to the area the next day and found them. The solar powered boat was able to go into shallower waters than others so we got to see lots of birds.

A lovely way to spend an hour. Very quiet boat as powered by solar panels. Felt privileged to get such a close-hand view of the lagoon, and to look back at Faro from the lagoon. Very good captain/guide, very knowledgeable. Sadly saw very few birds.
