Fantastic and fun tour at Waffles N Beer last night. Had 4 great beer tastings and delicious waffle making . Instructor (Ingrid?) was awesome and the other group of participants were from a bachelor party and so lively and fun. So many laughs, so much food and great Beer! Just a fantastic night! Highly recommend this activity. Easy to get to by uber/taxi or walking
It was really great to make the waffles and learn how the artisanal method truly works! Very fun and delicious.
We had so much fun with this experience. Our instructor was knowledgeable and made this experience such a pleasure. I would highly recommend doing this.
Fabulous workshop, lots of beer to try and more waffles than you’ll be able to eat! Jeffrey was a wonderful host.
We had a great time learning about Belgian beers and incorporating our favorite into the waffle batter. Ingrid did a great job of sharing about Brussels, helped everyone get to know each other and was a ton of fun.
Francoise class was amazing! It was the most fun we had on our trip. We had waffles to take home and tried so many spectacular beers. We met great couples and laughed a ton. Must do!!
We had an absolutely brilliant time here on our last day in Brussels. We booked the waffle‑making workshop for our daughter’s 6th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the whole trip. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone — kids and adults — felt confident and included. There were loads of ingredients and toppings to experiment with, and we definitely didn’t leave hungry. It was such a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and we even met lovely people from all over the world while we cooked. We’d highly recommend this to any family visiting Brussels and would happily return ourselves. Was just finding this to share with a friend and realised I hadn’t done a review.
Great experience. The lady running the workshop was very kind, knowledgable and fun! The recipe was great, whether can cook or not she helps you all the way and the waffles and beer were delicious.
Location easy to find. The set up was done in advance and had everything needed. We learned about three types of beer with healthy pours then proceeded to make our own waffle batter with a beer of our choice (an ingredient). Our group was a lot of fun… Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, USA… the waffles were delicious and plentiful. A perfect way to kick off a weekend in Brussels.
Super fun family experience. The teacher spoke really well and very easily understandable English, so we could constantly follow up. We learned how to bake good waffles, a little about Belgian beer and a little about Belgian culture and history. Do not plan to go out and eat right afterwards. You're propset. We even got waffles with us home to the apartment, so we had for the next day too.
