Excellent experience, authentic. The owner is adorable and very pedagogical. The setting is very nice. The making of sushi and daishi is explained step by step.
We had a wonderful time learning to make sushi from our host. Extremely clean and our dish we made came out pretty well. We have a new found respect for sushi chefs.
Local full of tourists with zero wait. Friendly and fast staff and clothing coordinated with the place. Food at the top. I absolutely recommend it 👏
We stayed at the home of the lovely and pleasant Kaudi who taught us about dashi soup and how to make different types of sushi for a wonderful two hours which was one of the highlights of our visit to Japan.
Very friendly, educational, fun to make sushi and eat elf, relatively little done by yourself, could be a bit more active
Great experience! Loved that Ai met us at the restaurant and walked us to the kitchen. Ai was delightful and well organized. Explained the culture / history behind the food. She made making the multiple dishes so much fun. Best part..... the final products were delicious! Would recommend.
Knew nothing about making sushi went started this experience, left knowing how to make it!!! Great host who talked you through the stages and gave recipes to take away so you could give it a go. Great fun, lots of laughs, highly recommend
Excellent insight into sushi making and other skills. Really friendly teacher with excellent English. Lovely clean environment
Incredible experience where we learned so much! This took place in a cute Japanese house which made the experience feel authentic. The instructions and explanations the teacher gave were clear and easy to understand. The way she explained how to make sushi rice, maki sushi, and temari sushi (sushi in the shape of a ball) allowed us to create delicious sushi ourselves easily! We also learned about dashi soup stock, pickled ginger, and umami. If you’re interested not only in sushi but Japanese cuisine, this is the class for you!

It was a pleasure to guide you through the steps of making sushi, dashi, and other Japanese delicacies. I’m glad the explanations were clear and helped you create delicious sushi with ease! Your enthusiasm for learning about Japanese cuisine truly made the class special, and I hope to see you again for more culinary adventures in the future! Warm regards, Kaori
The class instructor was thorough and wonderfully informative about etiquette and the use of ingredients. There were adults to younger children in the group and everyone was able to follow instructions, leaving the class with full stomachs. Thank you for a wonderful time!
