A more personal way to experience Malaysia without the tour crowds if your timing is good!

Private driver. Afforded plenty of time to fully explore the four popular sites at my pace since it was just me and the driver was happy to wait just for me. As such, I was able to tour places when tour buses were not there. A totally different experience than arriving on a tour bus, which I did the next day. Pretty much a private car for a half day. This is a great way to meet the wonderful people of Malaysia one on one! The staff at the Batik store particularly stand out! You can meet the artists that make the beautiful items you see and can purchase there. Highly recommend for a more personal way to experience Malaysia more fully than by tour bus. The driver waits for you rather than walks you around at each sight, which makes the pace feel so much more relaxed.

Outstanding

The guide: I had Ayyanar and he was exceptional. Very informative, really nice and friendly and very caring. Knew all the locations, history and a tonne about each area, the festivals and all sorts of other bits of information. He was really excellent. The tour: also exceptional. You hit a bunch of spots on the tour but the main theme is diversity. If you want to see some highlights of Malay, Chinese and Indian culture as well as Islamic, Hindu and Taoist/Buddhist culture this is definitely the way to go. Because you see so much you dont get to spend a tonne of time at each one, but its a brilliant start if you want to get the lay of the land and see how much of a melting pot KL and Malaysia is. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone who hasnt seen much of KL before.

Amazing Tour with an Excellent Guide

We really enjoyed the tour! Everything was well organized, and we visited all the key places in Kuala Lumpur. Our guide, Yuvanesh, was absolutely amazing — he was a great guide and an excellent driver. He told us interesting and useful information at every stop and also took wonderful photos of us throughout the tour. We had a great time and really enjoyed the whole experience. We highly recommend this tour and especially Yuvanesh! Thank you so much for such a lovely day! 😊

Great cultural tour

What a great cultural experience, our guide/driver Kubayn collected us on time from our Hotel with a friendly greeting, checked our knowledge of KL and gave us an informative introduction, meaning that we were at the Batu Caves before we knew it. Kubayn gave us information on the area, took photos and ensured we knew what to see and do before leaving us to explore. After the caves came the temples and Mosque all of which were interesting. Lastly the Chinese Market with advice on bargaining. All in all a great tour with an excellent guide.

A personal driver shows you the highlights in Malaysia with escaping the summer heat

My driver (Ben) arrived early, which was great as that afforded me the opportunity to do some touring before the day heated up more. He drove to some of the more popular sights in Malaysia and allowed me to tour each at my own pace. I especially enjoyed the personal tour of the Handcraft Batik Factory! The tour guide there was an artist who made some beautiful silk/cotton artwork that was perfect for gifts to bring back home! She signed each one that she made, including one they cut off a work in progress just for me. My driver even prepared me for the customs particular to each religious site visited. I highly recommend this tour if you stay is short like mine was.

Segar made this tour!

It was just the two of us, and Segar treated the day like it was ours — no script, no rushing, no watching the clock. He picked us up on time and immediately made us feel comfortable. What sets him apart is that he actually explains things. At every stop he gave us the context first — the history, the significance, why it matters — so we weren't just taking photos of buildings we knew nothing about. If you're booking a private tour in Kuala Lumpur, ask for Segar. Warm, knowledgeable, and completely unhurried. Terima kasih!
