Description
Discover Helsinki from the sea on a 90-minute guided RIB boat tour combining city sights, archipelago scenery, and high-speed adventure. Depart from the Redrib hub at Café Marina Bay and cruise along Helsinki’s coastline past Market Square, Kaivopuisto, Löyly, and the city’s lively waterfront. After seeing the city sights, experience the speed and excitement of a RIB ride on the open water. Continue into the Helsinki archipelago toward Vallisaari and the UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, where you can see Submarine Vesikko from the water. Pass Helsinki’s new maritime residential districts and the striking Kruunuvuorensilta bridge. Continue toward Katajanokka to see the Finnish icebreakers moored in the harbor for their summer break. Return to the Redrib hub after the tour. All passenger equipment is provided, including protective suits, jackets, life vests, speed goggles, and hats and gloves when needed.

Cruise alongside Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Helsinki’s most important historic sites, while your guide shares its maritime history.
See Submarine vesikko from the water beside Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. This restored Finnish submarine offers a fascinating glimpse into Finland’s naval history.
Cruise beneath Helsinki’s new Kruunuvuorensilta bridge, a striking maritime landmark connecting the city centre with the eastern archipelago .
Cruise back to Katajanokka and see Finland’s powerful icebreaker fleet moored in Helsinki during the summer season.

We were welcomed by the friendly crew and fitted out with our safety clothing. Then started out on our 90 minute adventure. Some slower parts with information about Helsinki and the surrounding islands. Then the super fast bits when I thought I would fly out of the boat. It was so exhilarating. I can see how this is a 5 star experience. Photos and videos were taken and shared with us at the end. All in all a fabulous time.

We had the best time doing this experience! Our guide, Patrick, had no other passengers on our tour apart from my sister and myself, so our boat ride was very personalized and he provided so many neat fact for us about the history and formation of Finland! I would definitely recommend adding a RedRib tour to your Helsinki trip, it’s historical, beautiful, and thrilling.

A fun time sightseeing around Helsinki on a speed boat. A mix of going slow and also going very fast at times, the tour guide was very good and everyone enjoyed themselves. Would do again

Company contacted us to bring scheduled time forward and provided a taxi to meet the rib in time which they paid for. Pre tour communication excellent. Met guide at quayside, friendly and informative tour. Good quality equipment. Saw main sites from water and guide gave information and some history.
