Adam and Rory were great guides with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and really friendly. Starting off in Docklands Quay (tram from Southern Cross station till the end of the line and a 2 min walk) and then finishing off down past Princess Bridge made it an easy (finishing near all the easy access public transport, nightlife and accommodation) enjoyable trip. Food was good with a selection that allowed everyone a choice. Watching Melbourne skyline change colour as we paddled was lovely. Everyone finished with a smile on their face. They catered for all skill level and reasonably priced for the experience you get and the solid equipment. Thanks for the memories.
It was a cool experience to see the city from a different perspective. However tour said to be there by 5:30 and we did not get off on the tour for over an hour later. The guides were nice however, they were not personable at all and were robotic with their information. As a solo traveler it would have been nice to have had the option to have a solo kayak.
Great Tour to explore Melbourne from a different side. Great tour guide providing a lot of information about the area, history, buildings and nature
Great experience paddling the river at sunset and seeing the fireball show from the water. Fish and chips dinner was good- not too sure about the other options. Our guides were good once we got started-they were late getting organized. Stay near the front if you want to hear the commentary from the lead guide, as it can be hard to hear at times.
Weather was a little unsettled. Food just okay but pizzas looked good. Enjoyed the last part of kayaking when it was darker and lights were on. Guides were excellent!
I totally recommend this experience, especially the after-eating part, because the view of the city at night sailing along the Yarra River, is really amazing.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 hours on the water gliding along the river and catching all the city sights. Kayak instructor was very informative for our group of 10 kayaks and having dinner on the water was a different experience not to be missed. Tour operator was well organised. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again.
Tour was well organized, safety was importan for the tour provider, the timing of the experience was impressive - we manage to have dinner, enjoy the sunset, pedal to the river, and enjoy some timely attractions (fire show and the casino) flawlessly. Would do this experience over and over.
Really lovely, gentle kayak up the Yarra into the heart of Melbourne, great to see the city in lights from the river. Fun to see the fireball display. Dinner in the kayaks - we had fish and chips. The guide was very informative and friendly. The kayaks were easy to operate and in great condition
First time for both me and my granddaughter doing kayaking but was made really enjoyable by our guides and were towed for a good while until we got the hang of it. A great way to see Melbourne at night so pretty . We had fish and chips and a pizza while seated in the kayak half way through the tour which was great .Would definitely recommend this experience and we had perfect weather too . I took small towel to lay across my knees which was well worth it as you can get wet and wore a hoody as certain parts of the river were a bit windy ..
