We had a very fun day with Kiyoto. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed conversation on a variety of topics. He tailored the experience to make it a perfect fit for our family. Our 15 year old boys especially enjoyed a trip to the monkey park. We would recommend this tour to anyone. We learned and saw so much more than we would have trying to do it all on our own! And the video he made as a keepsake from our tour was a great bonus!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was an absolute pleasure hosting your family in Kyoto, and I am thrilled that you had such a fun day exploring together. I really enjoyed our conversations on so many different topics. Seeing the boys have such a great time at the monkey park was a highlight for me as well, and tailoring the route to fit your family perfectly made the day special. I am so glad the keepsake video brings back good memories of everything you learned and saw. I hope to welcome you all back to Japan in the future!

We had an amazing day in Kyoto with Kiyoto! He took the time to customize our tour based on our interests and even adjusted it to avoid places we had already visited. Every stop was fantastic, and we got to experience a side of Kyoto we never would have found on our own. Kiyoto was knowledgeable, personable, and a lot of fun to spend the day with. If you’re looking for a guide in Kyoto, we highly recommend him!

Kiyoto was a fantastic guide, so friendly and informative. We had the best time. After taking us to the temple with thousands of red gates, which I think all tourists visit, he then took us to quieter shrines off the beaten track. They were wonderful places, so calming and quiet and the gardens were amazing. Kiyoto also made a short video of our experience without us realising that knowing. So that was a lovely surprise. He even took us to a place where we could buy presents that our grandchildren had asked for.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was an absolute pleasure guiding you through Kyoto and sharing both the iconic sights and my personal favorite hidden spots. I am thrilled you enjoyed the contrast between the vibrant red gates and the peaceful gardens off the beaten track. Capturing those moments on video was a joy for me, and I am glad it became a special memory of our time together. I also hope your grandchildren love the gifts we found. Please come back to Kyoto whenever you wish to explore more hidden gems. You are always welcome here! ...perhaps with your grandchildren!!

Does it get any better than being guided by Kiyoto in Kyoto? Our family thinks not. As a family of five and with the services of a taxi van, Kiyoto led us around the city for an entire day seeing the very best Kyoto had to offer. Kyoto did an excellent job throughout the day of tailoring the tour and itinerary to our needs. He spoke excellent English. And he shared interesting history, background and other information, not to mention showing us places and things not covered by other tours.
Dear friends, Thank you so much for your heartwarming review! It was such a special treat to welcome you back to Kyoto, this time with your daughter, her husband, and your lovely grandchild. Having your entire family of five in the taxi van for a full day of exploration was a highlight for me as well. I was moved to tears of joy when I heard that the Okonomiyaki tasted just as delicious as the one we shared last year. Sharing those familiar flavors with you again felt like catching up with dear old friends. I am thrilled that the tailored itinerary and the hidden spots I chose resonated with everyone across the generations. Thank you for trusting me again to show you the heart of my city. I already look forward to the next time our paths cross! Warmly, Kiyoto
