Hafid was amazing! We had such a wonderful experience with him from the moment we met him! He was kind, caring, patient and a wonderful guide. Such a beautiful soul inside and out. He made our trip to Fes so special. He took us to the best spots and made getting in and out of the tannery a piece of cake! He showed us the local shops with great signature Moroccan craftsmanship. He was extremely helpful with carrying our bags for us, and negotiating prices for us to make sure we received the best deals! I honestly wish I could have brought him with me throughout my whole trip in Morocco!! He made our day so amazing! Thank him so much for his amazing hospitality!! Would highly recommend him and his tours. It’s a must in a busy town like fes!!
It was pleasure, and always you are welcome
Hafid was AMAZING!! Literally took care of us as if we were his own family. He was very patient, attentive, and knowledge. He’s also loved by the community which was beautiful to see. 10/10 service
Thank you so much for the positive review and you absolutely welcome.
We had a fantastic half day tour of the old Medina - our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history and Information about Fez. We saw the tanneries and leaned a lot about local artisans and their different skills. I would highly recommend this as the Medina has thousands of alleys and is quite a navigational challenge
Thank you so much
I had a wonderful tour with my guide, Bash. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the Medina’s history, and enthusiastic about explaining all of the different crafts. I was able to see and learn far more about the Medina than I otherwise would have. Thanks again Bash!
Thank you so much
Mr Bash was a terrific guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, easy to communicate with and quite sensitive to our needs. I highly recommend him for a Medina tour
Thank you
Our guide, Momo, was very knowledgeable and he took us outside the Medina and all through the Medina as well. He knew the hidden gems and was so helpful
Thank you and see you soon
We had our guided tour with Mohamed and he was absolutely incredible. While walking around all of Fes, it felt like he knew someone every few feet. We literally felt like we were with a local celebrity. Mohamed took care of us in so many ways. He explained all of the history in such detail and passion, showed us his favorite spots around the city such as hammams, restaurants, and even souvenirs shops. He seriously keeps such a good look out for you even while negotiating on purchasing and ensures that his clients are taken care of fairly. He helped us book reservations for lunch translated everything. Since we were here on a Friday, many things were closed and he even brought us to a palace that was closed because his friend works there. Top notch experience. If you’re ever in Fes and looking for a guided tour, I cannot recommend Mohamed enough. He’s beyond kind, generous, and even funny. I would recommend him and his company anytime.
Thank you so much
Good information and history
Thank you
I had an absolutely incredible experience exploring the Fes medina with my guide Uyounes, arranged through Riad Fes Maya. As a first-time visitor to Fes, I was completely overwhelmed by the ancient medina — but Uyounes made everything so magical and memorable! He took me through the most fascinating parts of the medina — the famous Chouara tanneries, the stunning mosques, the beautiful Ruined Garden, the traditional carpet cooperatives, the argan oil cooperative, the aromatic spice souks and the most authentic tea stops. But what truly set him apart was how he brought the medina ALIVE — explaining the history of the ancient streets, the meaning behind the beautiful carved doors, the rich culture and traditions of Fes that you simply cannot read in any guidebook. He took me through hidden narrow streets and secret corners that I would never have discovered on my own — showing me the real soul of this ancient city. He also knew all the best photo spots and helped me capture truly stunning memories. Uyounes was patient, warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing his beautiful city. Every question I asked was answered with such depth and enthusiasm. If you are visiting Fes medina — ask Riad Fes Maya for Uyounes. He will transform your experience completely. An absolute gem of a guide! Highest recommendation — 5 stars without hesitation!
Thank you
We had the most incredible tour today of the Fes Imperial City (old medina) with Momo! He took great care of us, and I feel 100% confident that he only took us to the highest quality establishments (we could actually see the artisans working), and I found the prices reasonable and was so impressed with the many artisans’ work that we saw. We learnt and saw so much in one day, and we ate the best tender lamb kabobs from his favourite place. He then arranged for a driver to take us to see all the main sites outside the Medina car.
Thank you
