Mt. Kenya is not an easy hike, but the Bushtroop team - especially our amazing guides Michael and Peterson and chef Steven - made it as positive an experience as it could be! Whether it was a shorter or longer day of hiking, our guides were always with us, giving encouragement and fun facts about the mountain, wildlife, and plants, and we always had our supplies and delicious, filling meals waiting for us even with the dietary restrictions in our group. We're thrilled and proud to have summited Pt. Lenana, but also recognize we could never have done it without the support we got from the whole team. Thank you!

My friends and I had an amazing time on this hike with our guides Michael and Petersen and the crew they put together. This is actually my 2nd time hiking Mt Kenya, and the first time I didn't have a great guide experience and I didn't reach the summit. This was the opposite experience! Our guides were encouraging, friendly, chatty, funny, receptive to our needs, and extremely supportive - and we made it to the summit together! The porters and chefs prepared amazing food, entirely vegan to meet our dietary restrictions, but they were hearty, filling, and flavorful so we didn't lack the protein and sustenance we needed to get to the top. In the main office, Jacqueline was responsive to our many questions during preparation, and we felt that even including tips this was a great value for 5 days all inclusive hiking, food, board, and transport. I highly recommend training for this trek and taking the extra day to acclimatize.

I had such an amazing experience with my husband and friends. The team was very efficient at communication and we had an excellent guide, Michael. All covid protocols were observed and we still managed to enjoy the trek. Thank you so much for enabling us to make this new memories looking forward to coming back to Kenya and booking with you again.

What shall I say: Everything was perfect. - The whole organization of my trip including Hotel in Nairobi and airport transfer - I had the best guide for the trekking tour I can imagine Julius Kinuthia.
